We especially like Winter Skin for fair skin and for anyone with little previous self-tanning experience. Small differences in application are much less noticeable with a gradual tan, and the result can be built up at your own pace. Even when a vacation tan or a more intense self-tan gradually fades, Winter Skin is wonderful for gently refreshing the color and helping it last longer.

Care is by no means neglected. Instead of added water, organic aloe vera juice forms the base of the lotion, complemented by glycerin, nourishing shea lipids, and vitamin E. Chamomile, elderberry, grape skin extract, and cocoa powder add further plant-based compounds to the formula. The texture spreads like a normal body lotion and leaves the skin soft, cared for, and a little more tanned with every application - self-tanning could hardly be easier.

• Sugar cane-derived DHA: Dihydroxyacetone reacts with amino acids in the uppermost layer of the skin and gradually develops the visible tan there - without UV radiation. With Winter Skin, the color development is deliberately gradual, making it much easier to build the desired shade with control than with an intensely tanning mousse or tanning water.
• Organic aloe vera & glycerin: Aloe vera juice is listed first in the formula and therefore forms the actual base of the lotion instead of added aqua. Together with plant-based glycerin, aloe vera helps retain moisture in the skin and also makes Winter Skin a pleasantly nourishing daily body lotion.
• Shea lipids: Shea Butter Ethyl Esters bring the supple lipids of shea butter into the formula in a lighter form. They support a soft, smooth skin feel and fit very well with the concept of a body lotion applied regularly over several days without feeling heavy on the skin.
• Grape skin extract & cocoa: Both plant-based ingredients naturally provide antioxidant compounds and complement the lotion's nourishing base. Cocoa also suits the product's warm character, while grape skin extract adds polyphenols to the formula.

How to use

• Ideally exfoliate the skin thoroughly 24-48 hours before the first application. The Exfoliating Glove is suitable for this, for example.
• Apply Winter Skin evenly to clean, completely dry skin - similarly to a normal body lotion.
• It is best to start with the legs and work your way upward.
• Use especially sparingly on the hands, wrists, knees, elbows, feet, and ankles, and blend carefully.
• Alternatively, the Tanning Mitt can be used for an especially even application.
• If applying with your hands, wash them thoroughly immediately afterward, including between the fingers.
• Reapply on consecutive days until the desired color intensity is reached.
• Afterward, use as needed to refresh the tan and maintain it at the desired level.

Invisible Tan develops a visible, warm, golden tan after just one application. The rich cream feels like a nourishing body lotion and is especially well suited to medium to olive skin tones and drier skin. Ideal if you want to moisturize in the evening and wake up more tanned the next morning.

Cacao Tanning Mousse is the right choice if you prefer the lightweight, fast-drying texture of a mousse. It develops a medium to more intense, warm bronze tan and spreads especially quickly over larger areas of the body - effortless when you want a more noticeable result but prefer a lightweight texture.

Hempitan Body Tan Water is the most intense option in the range. The ultra-light spray dries almost instantly and develops a rich, long-lasting bronze tan without feeling like a cream or mousse on the skin. Especially suitable if you want a darker tan and as little product feel as possible.

For the face, neck, and décolleté, we recommend Face Tan Water. The featherlight, non-comedogenic toner texture can be applied directly, and the color can be built up gradually according to your preference - from a light sun-kissed glow to a more visible tan.

Does the tan protect against UV radiation?
