• Black cumin oil mainly consists of linoleic acid, an essential omega-6 fatty acid.
• Linoleic acid is an unsaturated fatty acid, and the body converts it into two important omega-6 fatty acids: gamma-linolenic acid and arachidonic acid. Additionally, black cumin contains high-quality oleic acid as well as essential oils (thymoquinone), important minerals, and secondary plant compounds.

FAQ

Why does the capsule shell contain ethanol?

Our Schwarzkümmelöl capsules consist of a tasteless HPMC (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose) capsule, which is sealed and compressed with a transparent band. Ethanol in the band serves to hold the capsule halves together. Ethanol makes up <1% of the capsule and is therefore present in a lower concentration than in a ripe banana. We chose this capsule shell variant because it contains fewer additives compared to softgel capsules.

Pregnant women, nursing mothers, and children

In principle, there is no objection to consuming our Schwarzkümmelöl capsules during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Before using essential oils, we recommend pregnant women consult a doctor.
If you are unsure about the dosage, please discuss it in advance with medical professionals or a midwife.

For children, we recommend consulting a pediatrician beforehand, especially regarding an adjusted dosage.
