Active Ingredients

• Birch extract (Betula Alba (Birch) Leaf Extract) is obtained from the leaves of the Betula Alba tree. It is known for its skin-healing and cleansing properties and also has an astringent effect. Birch has anti-inflammatory and soothing properties, supports scalp health, and helps combat hair loss and dandruff.
• Jojoba oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) – Its high fatty acid content makes the skin soft, supple, and resilient. The oil is antibacterial, absorbs quickly, and contains vitamins B, E, minerals, and beta-carotene (provitamin A). It strengthens cell development and renewal, fights skin aging, and reinforces the skin’s natural protective barrier. Also very suitable for hair and scalp care. By the way, jojoba oil is technically not an oil but a plant wax.
• Shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter) is derived from the fruit of the Karité tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a care and healing agent. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, and beta-carotene, the butter protects against environmental stress, binds moisture, fights free radicals, promotes cell regeneration, and makes skin and hair soft and smooth.
• Squalane or squalane oil (Squalane) is a lightweight, non-comedogenic, and non-greasy oil that leaves skin silky soft. Squalane is a natural component of our skin barrier and is therefore very well absorbed by the skin. It protects the skin from moisture loss and prevents oxidation of the skin’s own fats. This regenerating oil helps prevent age spots, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, makes skin supple, and promotes oxygen supply and cell regeneration. It is mostly derived from olive oil, less commonly from rice bran or wheat germ oil. For cosmetics, squalene is converted into squalane. Squalane contains no unsaturated bonds and is therefore oxidation-resistant and longer-lasting.
• The fruits and bark of the Arjuna tree (Terminalia Arjuna) have a long tradition in Ayurvedic medicine. Its bark contains a variety of bioactive ingredients such as flavonoids, triterpenes, and antioxidants. In skincare, Arjuna extract is used for its protective, vascular-strengthening, and antioxidant properties.
• The wax of the lacquer tree (Rhus Verniciflua Peel Wax) is obtained from the bark of the Japanese lacquer tree (Rhus verniciflua). In skincare, it is valued for its skin-protecting and nourishing properties. It forms a light protective barrier on the skin that locks in moisture and shields it from external influences. Additionally, it gives skincare products a pleasant texture and increases smoothness.
• Hyaluronic acid (Hyaluronic Acid / Sodium Hyaluronate) can hold up to 1000 times its weight in water. Hyaluronic acid is a main component of connective tissue, filling and supporting it. Due to its ability to bind large amounts of water, it is responsible for the skin’s moisture content. Hyaluronic acid also promotes skin firmness and elasticity. As we age, we lose our natural hyaluronic acid, which is one of the main causes of wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid helps fill in fine lines and plump the skin.
• Alteromonas ferment extract (Alteromonas Ferment Extract) is obtained from the fermentation of marine bacteria and is rich in amino acids, vitamins, and minerals. In skincare, it offers moisturizing, soothing, and anti-inflammatory properties that can reduce redness and skin irritation. Additionally, the extract promotes cell renewal, improves skin elasticity, and protects against harmful environmental influences, making it a valuable ingredient in hydrating and regenerating products.
