French Purifying Mask 55 g

The clarifying face mask is based on a combination of plant powders, algae, and French clay. The mask transforms into a soft, creamy foam upon contact with water.

The finely ground plant powders, algae, and clay come from local French production and are carefully freshly prepared in the Oden manufactory.

Application

• Mix two teaspoons of the powder with a small amount of water once or twice a week until a creamy texture forms.
• Apply the mixture to a cleansed, dry face, avoiding the eye area.
• Leave the mask on for 3 to 5 minutes and rinse thoroughly with plenty of water before it fully dries.
• If you want to leave the mask on longer, regularly moisten your face with a toner.
• After use, apply your preferred moisturizer.
• Use within 6 months after opening.

Active Ingredients

• Kaolin is one of the natural healing clays. For cleansing, its mild abrasive effect is used on skin impurities, as the powdery texture removes dead and hardened skin cells. The grain size of kaolin is much finer than other healing clays, making it suitable for thin and sensitive skin. Kaolin also absorbs dirt particles from pores along with sebum, helping to prevent pimples and blackheads.
• Green clay (montmorillonite) contains micromolecules that make it highly absorbent, literally “drinking” impurities and oils. It tones and cleanses, stimulates the skin, and gives it a special “glow.”
• Marshmallow root (Althaea Officinalis Extract) has soothing and healing properties. It helps with itching and protects the skin from environmental influences. It also supports the skin’s moisture balance. Very suitable for sensitive skin; recommended for neurodermatitis or eczema-prone skin. Effective even for acne or inflamed, impure skin. Also a potent ingredient in hair care.
• The essential oils and extracts of peppermint and green mint cleanse the skin and scalp of deposits. Mint has anti-inflammatory effects, helps against itching, and prevents dandruff. It has a cooling effect and stimulates circulation.
• Lavender nourishes and tones the skin, has a calming and balancing effect, and soothes skin irritations, redness, and itching. A gentle care that is also beneficial for dry, allergic, and sensitive skin. Lavender is antibacterial and clarifying, which particularly benefits oily and impure skin types. Lavender can restore the skin’s pH balance. The scent of pure lavender water is herbal to floral and somewhat earthy, less feminine than lavender oil’s fragrance.
• Algae contain a high concentration of antioxidants, minerals, and bioactive compounds such as alginic acid, ascorbic acid, and carotenoids. These bioactive components support cell renewal and promote clear, smooth, and soft skin. Antioxidants help combat damage from free radicals, and the contained amino acids, vitamins, and minerals stimulate elastin and collagen production.
