Active Ingredients

• Buriti oil (also called Morete) is extracted from the fruits of the Buriti palm (Mauritia vinifera / Mauritia flexuosa), mainly found in Brazil. Buriti oil is characterized by a high concentration of oleic acid, tocopherols (vitamin precursors), provitamin A, and carotenoids, especially a very high amount of beta-carotene (5 times that of carrots). This nourishing oil has strong antioxidant properties, supports cell regeneration, and offers light natural protection against UV rays. The potent anti-aging oil nourishes skin and hair and can normalize sebum production.
• Rahua (Ungurahua): Women in the Amazon region have used the oil of this tree nut for centuries to care for and strengthen their hair. It strengthens weak and damaged hair, nourishes and maintains the health of hair follicles and scalp, and its ultra-fine molecules penetrate the color pigmentation deep into the hair shaft, significantly extending color retention. The skin benefits from its generous supply of omega-9 fatty acids, which firm and soothe and restore the scalp’s natural moisture balance. Rahua uses Symbiotic® Ungurahua.
• Sacha Inchi is a rare nut species mainly grown in South America. The fruit is exceptionally rich in omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants, including vitamins A and E. Sacha Inchi retains moisture in skin and hair and soothes inflamed and itchy scalp. Its cell-activating effect provides a natural anti-aging effect, improves skin firmness, reduces fine lines, and can diminish pigmentation spots. Rahua uses Symbiotic® Sacha Inchi.
• Star Anise: the evergreen seed with its spicy scent has antimicrobial properties and supports a healthy scalp microbiome.

• Rosemary Extract (Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract) – The medicinal plant from the Mediterranean promotes circulation and has mild antibacterial effects. Mature skin benefits from the circulation-boosting effect. Impure skin can be balanced again with rosemary. In hair care, rosemary stimulates scalp circulation and thus improves nutrient absorption. It promotes hair growth and regulates sebum production.
• Geranium Oil (Pelargonium Graveolens (geranium) oil) has the property of regulating the skin’s sebum production. While it reduces sebum production in oily skin, it stimulates sebum production in dry skin. The essential oil, used for skin care since ancient Egypt, also stimulates blood circulation, improves skin elasticity, and has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and wound-healing effects.
