Seifenmacher Beat Urech – based in Arosa, at home in the world – knows all about the miraculous process of soap making, as a trained druggist he was familiar early on with glycerin, lye, and essential oils. The result is genuine Aroser natural soaps – for face, body, hands, hair, and soul.

It all starts with the lye. Solid fats (coconut oil, cocoa butter, and shea butter) are melted in the soap kettle and liquid base oils like sunflower oil are weighed out. The more precious essential oils and other natural ingredients (herbs, woods, spices) are carefully prepared for further processing.
The base oils and now liquid fats are mixed until, with the addition of the lye at exactly 40 degrees Celsius, the much-cited soap wedding takes place – congratulations! By lovingly stirring clockwise, the mixture slowly thickens or “saponifies.” The flavorful ingredients (essential oils, herbs, etc.) are gradually added – oh, how it smells!
The warm soap mixture is then poured into large soap molds, cooled with the help of the Aroser high-altitude climate, and prepared for three days of curing. By hand, the soap block is cut into market-compliant pieces using metal guitar strings.
With a self-built stamping machine, the Seifenmacher logo is stamped into the soaps. Like fine wine, the still unpackaged soaps are stored for 30 days in spruce wood boxes until they are prepared for their onward journey in beautiful and 100% recyclable packaging.

100% aluminumWe carefully process and package your order in our warehouse in Reutlingen. Processing usually takes within 48 hours. As soon as your order has been handed over to the shipping service provider, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking. After handover to DHL, the shipping time within Germany is usually 1–3 business days.
The shipping costs 4.95€; for orders over 60€, we offer free shipping within Germany.
International orders are shipped depending on the destination country and package size with DHL International or Deutsche Post Warenpost International Premium. The available shipping methods and costs are shown at checkout. Shipping time depends on the destination country, chosen shipping method, and customs clearance.
Returns: You can return unopened, unused, and undamaged products within 14 days of delivery. For returns within Germany, we provide a return label for 5.95€ upon request. Returns from abroad must be organized and paid for by the customer.
We package carefully, lovingly, and environmentally friendly. The box, filling material, and greeting card are made from recycled paper, and even the packing tape can be disposed of in the paper recycling bin.
