P.F. Candle Co. is an independent fragrance company from Los Angeles. Since 2008, it has created home fragrances with a keen sense of landscapes, memories, and unusual scent combinations. The candles are made from 100% soy wax and poured into the signature amber apothecary-style glasses.
Vanilla & Ghost Pepper is one of P.F. Candle Co.'s more distinctive seasonal creations. Pepper, cinnamon, and incense give the fragrance plenty of character, while vanilla and sandalwood soften it—warm, but not gourmand.
How to use
- Trim the wick to approx. 6 mm before each lighting.
- Allow the wax to melt to the edge of the glass during each burn whenever possible to prevent tunneling.
- Do not burn the candle for longer than four hours at a time.
- Place the candle on a heat-resistant surface and avoid drafts.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended and keep it away from children and pets.

Does Ghost Pepper actually smell hot or chili-like?
No. Ghost Pepper does not refer to a hot food-like scent here. Instead, the note enhances the fragrance's dry, piquant spiciness. Combined with black pepper and cinnamon, it feels lively but not aggressive or literally “hot.”
Is Vanilla & Ghost Pepper a sweet vanilla fragrance?
No. Vanilla plays a role only in the base and is clearly balanced by pepper, incense, cinnamon, sandalwood, and cedarwood. The overall impression is more spicy and woody than sweet.
Why is the fragrance sometimes found under the name Desert Lodge?
Vanilla & Ghost Pepper was originally called No. 24 Desert Lodge. P.F. Candle Co. later renamed the fragrance; the scent composition remained the same under its new name.
We carefully process and package your order in our warehouse in Reutlingen. Processing usually takes within 48 hours. As soon as your order has been handed over to the shipping service provider, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking. After handover to DHL, the shipping time within Germany is usually 1–3 business days.
The shipping costs 4.95€; for orders over 60€, we offer free shipping within Germany.
International orders are shipped depending on the destination country and package size with DHL International or Deutsche Post Warenpost International Premium. The available shipping methods and costs are shown at checkout. Shipping time depends on the destination country, chosen shipping method, and customs clearance.
Returns: You can return unopened, unused, and undamaged products within 14 days of delivery. For returns within Germany, we provide a return label for 5.95€ upon request. Returns from abroad must be organized and paid for by the customer.
We package carefully, lovingly, and environmentally friendly. The box, filling material, and greeting card are made from recycled paper, and even the packing tape can be disposed of in the paper recycling bin.
