Hydration Shampoo

The Rahua Hydration Shampoo is a rich moisturizing shampoo for dry, medium-thick to thick hair. Its creamy, gently foaming formula thoroughly cleanses the hair and scalp and provides dry lengths with intensive care without leaving hair feeling weighed down.

Rahua oil, morete oil, sacha inchi oil, aloe vera, and mango and passion fruit extracts help retain moisture in the hair, reduce frizz, and leave the hair surface looking smoother. The tropical-fruity scent of mango and passion fruit turns hair washing into a small self-care ritual.

The special hydration formula combines valuable oils from the Amazon with moisturizing plant extracts. Rahua oil is rich in omega-9 fatty acids and supports soft, well-cared-for lengths. Morete oil and sacha inchi oil complement the care with valuable lipids, while aloe vera, mango, and passion fruit provide the hair with moisture and give it a soft, glossy finish.

The result is smoother, softer, naturally shinier-looking hair that is easier to manage and style. For very fine hair, the rich formula may be too intensive for daily use.

Active Ingredients

• Buriti oil (also called morete oil) is obtained from the fruit of the buriti palm (Mauritia vinifera / Mauritia flexuosa), which is primarily found in Brazil. Buriti oil is characterized by a high concentration of oleic acid, tocopherols (vitamin precursors), provitamin A, and carotenoids, particularly a very high proportion of beta-carotene (five times that of a carrot). This nourishing oil has powerful antioxidant properties, supports cell regeneration, and provides light natural protection against UV rays. This potent anti-aging oil cares for the skin and hair and may help normalize sebum production.
• Rahua (Ungurahua): Women in the Amazon region have used the oil from this tree nut for many centuries to care for and strengthen their hair. It strengthens weak and damaged hair, nourishes and maintains the health of the hair follicles and scalp, and its superfine molecules penetrate deeply into the hair shaft’s pigments, significantly extending color retention. The skin benefits from its generous supply of omega-9 fatty acids, which firm and soothe and restore the scalp’s natural moisture balance. Rahua uses Symbiotic® ungurahua.
• Passion fruit seed oil / maracuja seed oil (Passiflora Edulis Seed Oil) is an exceptional emollient, rich in vitamin A and essential fatty acids. Although passion fruit is highly moisturizing, it has a lightweight, non-greasy texture that absorbs wonderfully easily.
• Coconut betaine: Gently and effectively removes dirt and excess oil from the hair without disrupting the hair’s balance or moisture levels. 
• Aloe vera extract / juice (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract / Juice) provides natural moisture, helps prevent skin from drying out, and strengthens the skin’s natural barrier. Aloe vera contains vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and essential amino acids. It supplies the skin and hair with oxygen and is considered effective in supporting cell renewal. It binds moisture, has a cooling, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial effect.
• Hydrolyzed quinoa (Hydrolyzed Quinoa) – Known to the ancient Incas as the “mother of all grains,” this gluten-free superfood revitalizes the skin and hair. Rich in vitamins and amino acids, it inhibits collagen breakdown, supports connective tissue, promotes healing and moisture retention, and reduces signs of fatigue.
• Sacha inchi is a rare type of nut grown primarily in South America. The fruit is exceptionally rich in omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants, including vitamins A and E. Sacha inchi retains moisture in the skin and hair and soothes inflamed and itchy scalps. Its cell-activating effect provides a natural anti-aging benefit; sacha inchi improves skin firmness, reduces fine lines, and may diminish pigmentation spots. Rahua uses Symbiotic® sacha inchi.
• Mango sugar: This juicy tropical fruit releases an irresistibly exotic fragrance and contains sugars that help bind oil proteins to the hair and maximize moisture.
