Palo Santo & Ritual

Palo Santo botanically belongs to the balsam family and is related to aromatic resin plants such as frankincense and myrrh. These resins and essential compounds are what give the wood its warm, unmistakable fragrance when smoldered.

Traditionally, the smoke is used to open or close rituals, consciously shape a space, and accompany moments of grounding. For us, the appeal lies above all in this small transition: light it, blow it out, notice the fragrance, and slow down for a moment.

How to Use

• Light a Palo Santo stick with a candle, match, or lighter.
• Let the wood burn for about 30–60 seconds, then carefully blow out the flame.
• Disperse the rising smoke throughout the room or place the wood in a fireproof bowl during meditation or a ritual.
• To allow it to extinguish completely, place it in a fireproof bowl made of metal, ceramic, or heat-resistant glass.
• Never leave burning or smoldering incense unattended.
• Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials.
