Advanced Hydration Mask

The Advanced Hydration Mask is an innovative facial mask designed to provide the skin with optimal moisture and restore its protective skin barrier.

This unique facial treatment can be used daily to improve the appearance and vitality of the skin. Aloe vera leaf extract, anti-inflammatory herbal extracts, and rich plant oils work synergistically to support skin regeneration.

The Advanced Hydration Mask also promotes circulation, which in turn supports healthy skin function and slows skin aging.

• The mask can be removed without water, which helps retain moisture. Rinsing with water increases transepidermal water loss (Trans Epidermal Water Loss). With most conventional moisturizing masks, a considerable amount of moisture is immediately lost again through rinsing.

Application

• Dampen cleansed skin or, ideally, mist on the Hydrating Accelerator.
• Apply the Advanced Hydration Mask to the still-damp face.
• Leave the mask on for 15–25 minutes.
• Wipe the mask off with a dry, clean cloth.
• Then continue your facial care routine with the Active Infusion Serum and Vital Balm Cream.
• Can be used daily.

• The mask can also be used to cleanse the face: Mist the face with the Hydrating Accelerator and massage a generous amount of the mask into the face and neck for 3–4 minutes. Then wipe off with a dry or damp cloth. Finish your facial care routine with the Vital Balm Cream.

• Note: Skin types prone to acne should first test the mask for compatibility.
• Note: The Advanced Hydration Mask may liquefy during summer transport due to the sensitivity of our formulations. This is harmless and does not affect the product’s effectiveness. To restore the products’ wonderful, silky texture, simply store them in the refrigerator for 48 hours.

Active Ingredients

• Shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter) is obtained from the fruit of the karité tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a skincare and healing remedy. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, and beta-carotene, the butter protects against environmental stressors, binds moisture, combats free radicals, promotes cell regeneration, and leaves skin and hair soft and supple.
• Mango seed butter (Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter) – Native mango butter is the fat from the pit of the tropical fruit. Mango butter moisturizes and has a soothing, regenerative effect on the skin and scalp. The nutrient-rich butter contains various fatty acids, vitamins A, C, D, and E, as well as various minerals.
• Indian senna (Cassia Angustifolia (Senna) Seed Extract) is also known as botanical hyaluronic acid. Botanical hyaluronic acid consists of polysaccharides (sugar compounds) with the ability to absorb and retain moisture. They help “plump” the skin from within and also form a film that prevents moisture loss. Senna seeds also have anti-inflammatory properties and achieve very good results in the treatment of acne and other skin conditions. In India, senna is brewed as a tea to help reduce bacterial problems, acne, psoriasis, and wounds.
• Aloe vera extract / juice (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract / Juice) provides natural moisture, prevents the skin from drying out, and strengthens the skin’s natural barrier. Aloe vera contains vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and essential amino acids. It supplies the skin with oxygen and is considered effective in supporting cell renewal. It binds moisture and has cooling, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties.
• Jojoba oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) – Its high fatty-acid content makes the skin soft, supple, and resilient. The oil has antibacterial properties, absorbs quickly, and contains vitamins B and E, minerals, and beta-carotene (provitamin A). It supports cell development and renewal, counteracts skin aging, and strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier. It is also highly suitable for hair and scalp care. Incidentally, jojoba oil is technically not an oil but a plant wax.
• Ashwagandha (Withania Somnifera Root Extract / Withania Somnifera Leaf/Root Extract), also known as winter cherry or Indian ginseng, is one of the important plants in Ayurveda. The plant extract helps protect the skin from oxidative stress caused by environmental influences and can counteract visible signs of stressed skin such as dryness and a dull appearance. Studies with standardized ashwagandha root extract also show improvements in skin moisture, elasticity, and evenness. The plant compounds it contains are also being studied in connection with oxidative stress and inflammatory processes in the skin. Ashwagandha therefore supports a more resilient, smoother, and firmer-looking complexion
  
• Turmeric / turmeric root (Curcuma Longa) has a powerful antibacterial effect and combats germs, bacteria, and viruses on the skin. It is well suited to problematic skin. Turmeric also promotes circulation and regulates sebum production.
• Marshmallow root / true marshmallow (Althaea Officinalis (Marshmallow) Extract) has soothing and healing properties. It helps relieve itching and protects the skin from environmental influences. It also supports the skin’s moisture balance. It is highly suitable for sensitive skin; the active ingredient is also recommended for neurodermatitis-prone or eczema-prone skin. Even with acne or blemished, inflamed skin, this mallow plant is effective. It is also an effective ingredient in hair care.
• Milk thistle (Silybum Marianum) is very well tolerated and contains valuable fatty acids in the form of linoleic and oleic acids, flavonoids, and proteins. Milk thistle strengthens the skin barrier, protects the skin from free radicals, and combats signs of blemishes. It also moisturizes, counteracts fine lines and wrinkles, and refines pores. Highly suitable for sensitive skin.
• Calendula / marigold (Calendula Officinalis Flower Oil / Extract) from the daisy family is particularly known for its anti-inflammatory, soothing, and wound-healing properties. It also promotes collagen production and helps produce new tissue (an important process in wound healing), while carotenoids strengthen the skin’s protective barrier. Very well tolerated and also suitable for baby skin. Secondary plant compounds known as flavonoids have antioxidant properties and protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals.
• Avocado oil (Persea Gratissima Oil) – The light green oil obtained by pressing avocado flesh contains many essential fatty acids and vitamins. It supports the skin’s moisture balance, protects it from drying out, and thus helps prevent wrinkles.
