Usage

• Use the eye mask whenever your skin feels dry and tight.
• As a cream: Pat into the skin morning and/or evening.
• As a mask: Apply generously to the skin around your eyes. After 15 minutes, gently wipe off or rinse.

Active Ingredients

• Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) – The high fatty acid content makes the skin soft, supple, and resilient. The oil has antibacterial properties, absorbs quickly, and contains vitamins B, E, minerals, and beta-carotene (provitamin A). It strengthens cell development and renewal, fights skin aging, and reinforces the skin’s natural protective barrier. Also very suitable for hair and scalp care. By the way, jojoba oil is technically not an oil but a plant wax.
• Horse Chestnut Extract (Aesculus Hippocastanum (Horse Chestnut) Seed) tones, strengthens blood vessels, and has astringent properties. Its circulation-boosting effect gives the skin a pleasant freshness and a clear complexion. It also has anti-inflammatory and soothing effects.
• Eyebright (Euphrasia Officinalis) – The extract of the eyebright plant (also called Eyebright) relieves pain, reduces swelling, has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects in eye conditions and overstrain. Eyebright is a traditional medicinal plant used for centuries in washes, compresses, and eye baths for eye inflammation, conjunctivitis, or styes.
• Rose Distillate (Rosa Damascena (Rose) Flower Water), also called rose flower water or hydrolate, is derived from rose petals and has soothing, astringent, and cleansing properties. It stimulates blood circulation in the fine capillaries, helps minimize the appearance of scars, micro-wounds, sunburn, and wrinkles. Naturally and delicately scented with the aroma of roses.
• Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter) is obtained from the fruit of the karité tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a care and healing agent. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, and beta-carotene, it protects against environmental stress, binds moisture, fights free radicals, promotes cell regeneration, and makes skin and hair soft and supple.
• Ginkgo Biloba (Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract) has been known since antiquity as a medicinal herb and is a powerful adaptogen from TCM. Ginkgo is full of antioxidants that fight free radicals and can reduce signs of premature skin aging. It also has anti-inflammatory, cleansing, and sun protection properties and is a rich source of vitamin E.
• Evening Primrose Oil (Oenothera biennis (Evening Primrose) oil) soothes the skin, makes it more supple, and slows moisture loss. The high content of omega-6 fatty acids as well as vitamins and minerals have regenerating and healing effects. It relieves itching and helps against neurodermatitis and psoriasis. Dry, rough, scaly, and inflamed skin especially benefits from the nourishing properties of the oil.
• Beard Lichen (Usnea Barbata Extract) / lichens are known for their antibacterial, soothing, and anti-inflammatory effects. The contained polysaccharides provide moisture, and usnic acid effectively fights bacteria, germs, and fungi, which are major factors in acne and impure skin. Beard lichen is a symbiotic organism formed from the symbiosis of a fungus with an alga.
