Brightening toner with enzymes and amino acids from fermented rice water (Sake), provides moisture, plumps the skin, and leaves it noticeably soft.

Fermented rice water (Sake) is rich in enzymes, amino acids, malic acid, minerals, and vitamins – ingredients that deeply nourish and care for the skin, giving it a healthy glow. It also regulates sebum production. In synergy with white mulberry, witch hazel, shiitake mushroom, licorice root, and citrus fruits, the rice water evens out skin tone, reduces the appearance of dark spots, and brightens the skin.

How to Use

• After cleansing, place a small amount in clean hands and gently apply to the face.
• Use morning and evening.

Active Ingredients

• Ferments – During fermentation, a natural ingredient is combined with specific enzymes and/or bacteria, usually the probiotic Lactobacillus. During the fermentation process, the base material is broken down, producing additional valuable amino acids, vitamins, and antioxidants. This allows the active ingredient to fully develop its power and optimally care for the skin. The broken-down molecules are also smaller, making them easier and more effective for the body to recognize and absorb. Fermentation also combats pathogens and fungi, naturally preserving the ingredients and eliminating the need for added preservatives.
• Fermented rice water is created by soaking and fermenting rice in water. It contains antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins (especially B and E), and minerals, which are enhanced by the fermentation process and offer special benefits for the skin. Rice water hydrates the skin, brightens, can protect against premature skin aging, and soothes redness and irritation. It supports a smooth, supple skin texture.
• Shiitake (Lentinus Edodes) is an anti-aging powerhouse in the fight against cell damage. The use of shiitake as a medicinal plant dates back at least to 100 AD, when it was used in China to treat and prevent upper respiratory diseases, promote circulation, increase energy, reduce fatigue, and as a general elixir to strengthen Chi. The mushroom is especially strengthening for the skin with provitamin D, vitamins B12 and B2, and vitamin E. Shiitake promotes collagen synthesis, supporting firm and elastic skin, and can reduce lines and wrinkles.
• Licorice root extract (Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root Extract) has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. It is known for its skin-smoothing and itch-relieving properties. • Witch Hazel (Hamamelis Virginiana Leaf Extract) – Witch hazel leaf extract is made from the leaves and bark of the shrub. It helps remove excess oil, is anti-inflammatory, and balances the skin’s pH. Known to reduce acne and tighten the skin. Natural healing properties for a clearer complexion.
• Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) – supports the synthesis of lipids and ceramides essential for the skin’s barrier function. It improves skin texture and evens out uneven skin tone. The vitamin also helps with hyperpigmentation and redness. Niacinamide can regulate sebum production and reduce overproduction. This makes pores appear smaller and less “stretched.” Due to its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, niacinamide can also positively influence inflammation and moderate acne.
• Cedarwood Oil (Cedrus Atlantica Bark Oil) contains a variety of important ingredients for skin and hair. The essential oil promotes circulation, stimulates hair growth, and tightens the skin. It has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and soothes stressed scalp.
• Essential Orange Oil (Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil) is cold-pressed from orange peels. Orange oil brightens, is antibacterial, and astringent. It can combat inflammation and impurities, regulate excessive sebum production, and promote a smoother skin appearance. In hair and scalp care, orange oil improves scalp circulation, degreases hair, and can reduce dandruff. Orange oil contains limonene, aldehydes, linalool, citronella, citral, terpineol, vitamin C, and geraniol. The scent calms and uplifts mood.
