Compared with the classic Oden lip balm, hazelnut oil has been replaced by cherry kernel oil; in addition, alkanet extract provides a subtle, natural tint as a natural plant colorant.

All ingredients come from sustainable cultivation in France. They are gently processed and freshly prepared at the Oden manufactory in Paris. Thanks to the careful selection of ingredients, Oden products are particularly rich in fatty acids, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.

Key active ingredients

• Cherry kernel oil: This fine plant oil is rich in unsaturated fatty acids, particularly linoleic and oleic acid. It supplies dry, chapped lips with valuable lipids, supports their natural protective barrier and helps reduce moisture loss. Naturally occurring tocopherols and other antioxidant compounds also provide additional protection against oxidative stress.
• Sunflower & sweet almond oil: These two plant oils soften and smooth rough lips and complement the natural lipid barrier. Sunflower oil, rich in linoleic acid, supports the skin barrier, while almond oil, with its high oleic acid content, has a particularly smoothing and nourishing effect - ideal for dry or tight-feeling lips.
• Beeswax: This natural wax forms a fine protective film over the lips and helps reduce transepidermal moisture loss. As a result, existing moisture is better retained and the lips feel soft, smooth and protected for longer - especially in cold weather, wind or dry heated air.
• Honey: Honey binds moisture and supports a soft, comfortable feeling on the lips. It complements the protective waxes and plant oils, particularly for dry, rough lips, and helps keep the lip surface smooth and supple.
• Vitamin E: This fat-soluble antioxidant protects the lipids in the lips from oxidative processes while complementing the antioxidant components of the plant oils. It supports barrier care and helps keep dry, stressed lips soft and supple.
• Alkanet extract: This plant extract gives the balm its natural rosy hue and provides a subtle, transparent color shimmer on the lips - without the character of a classic lip color.

How to use

• Gently apply the balm to the lips and spread / massage in.
• Use in the morning for protection, during the day as needed and in the evening as a nourishing finishing step.
• Use within 6 months of opening.
