Usage

• Apply morning and evening to clean skin.
• Then apply your moisturizer.
• For gentle facial cleansing, use a cleansing oil, a mild foam cleanser, micellar water, a moisturizing facial soap, or a gel.

Active Ingredients

• Birch sap has a proven positive effect on signs of premature skin aging. Birch is known for its skin-healing and cleansing properties and also acts as an astringent. Birch has anti-inflammatory and skin-soothing properties, supports scalp health, and helps against hair loss and dandruff.
• Jojoba oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) – Its high fatty acid content makes the skin soft, supple, and resilient. The oil is antibacterial, absorbs quickly, and contains vitamins B, E, minerals, and beta-carotene (provitamin A). It strengthens cell development and renewal, fights skin aging, and reinforces the skin’s natural protective barrier. Also very suitable for hair and scalp care. By the way, jojoba oil is technically not an oil but a plant wax.
• Squalane or squalane oil (Squalane) is a lightweight, non-comedogenic, and non-greasy oil that leaves skin silky soft. Squalane is a natural component of our skin barrier and is therefore very well absorbed by our skin. It protects the skin from moisture loss and prevents oxidation of the skin’s own fats. This regenerating oil helps prevent age spots, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, makes the skin supple, and promotes oxygen supply and cell regeneration. It is mostly derived from olive oil, less commonly from rice bran or wheat germ oil. For cosmetics, squalene is converted into squalane. Squalane contains no unsaturated bonds and is therefore oxidation-resistant and longer-lasting. Incidentally, squalane was originally obtained from shark liver, hence the name. Squalus is the Latin name for shark.
• Vitamin E / Tocopherol enables long-lasting moisture retention between cells. This powerful antioxidant neutralizes harmful free radicals and can inhibit oil oxidation, preventing blackheads. Vitamin E also promotes cell regeneration and strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier function.
• Reishi mushroom (Ganoderma Lucidum), also called the “mushroom of eternal life,” contains many minerals, vitamins, amino acids, and trace elements that make it especially valuable in medicine. It is also highly valued in cosmetics, thanks to its anti-inflammatory and skin-rejuvenating properties and its ability to combat free radicals.
• Curly starweed (Gigartina Stellata Extract) is a red algae species from the North Atlantic, similar to carrageen moss (Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenan)), which is why the two are called “twin red algae.” It provides intense hydration, soothes skin irritations and redness, and forms a protective film that shields the skin from environmental influences. It also contains antioxidants that help fend off free radicals and slow premature skin aging.
• Alteromonas ferment extract (Alteromonas Ferment Extract) is obtained from the fermentation of marine bacteria and is rich in amino acids, vitamins, and minerals. In skincare, it offers moisturizing, soothing, and anti-inflammatory properties that can reduce redness and skin irritation. Additionally, the extract promotes cell renewal, improves skin elasticity, and protects against harmful environmental influences, making it a valuable ingredient in moisturizing and regenerating products.
• Hyaluronic acid (Hyaluronic Acid / Sodium Hyaluronate) stores moisture up to 1000 times its weight. Hyaluronic acid is a main component of connective tissue, filling and supporting it. Due to its ability to bind large amounts of water, it is responsible for the skin’s moisture content. Hyaluronic acid also promotes skin firmness and elasticity. As we age, we lose our natural hyaluronic acid, which is one of the main causes of wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid helps fill in fine lines and plump the skin.
