Application

• After showering or bathing, apply the body butter evenly to the skin and gently massage in.
• Ideal for daily use.
• Tip: For an especially soft skin feel, it is recommended to use a peeling glove before application. This stimulates circulation and gently removes dead skin cells.

Active Ingredients

• Shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter) is obtained from the fruit of the karité tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a care and healing agent. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, and beta-carotene, the butter protects against environmental stress, binds moisture, fights free radicals, promotes cell regeneration, and makes skin and hair soft and supple.
• Castor oil (Ricinus communis seed oil) consists largely of ricinoleic acid, which has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. The oil combats impurities, moisturizes, improves scar texture, and smooths the skin. Its high vitamin E content also helps fight free radicals and premature skin aging.
• Squalane or squalane oil (Squalane) is a lightweight, non-comedogenic, and non-greasy oil that leaves skin silky soft. Squalane is a natural component of our skin barrier and is therefore very well absorbed by our skin. It protects the skin from moisture loss and prevents oxidation of the skin’s own fats. The regenerating oil prevents age spots, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, makes the skin supple, and promotes oxygen supply and cell regeneration. It is mostly derived from olive oil, less commonly from rice bran or wheat germ oil. For cosmetics, squalene is converted into squalane. Squalane contains no unsaturated compounds and is therefore oxidation-resistant and longer-lasting.
• The lacquer tree wax (Rhus Verniciflua Peel Wax) is obtained from the bark of the Japanese lacquer tree (Rhus verniciflua). In skincare, it is valued for its skin-protecting and caring properties. It forms a light, protective barrier on the skin that locks in moisture and protects it from external influences. It also gives skincare products a pleasant texture and increases smoothness.
• Macadamia nut oil (Macadamia Integrifolia (Macadamia) Seed Oil) provides plenty of moisture and especially cares for dry, cracked, and stressed skin. The oil smooths and regenerates the skin. The beneficial mix of unsaturated, healthy fatty acids and the high content of vitamins and trace elements have earned the macadamia nut the name “queen of nuts.” The fatty acid profile resembles our skin’s own sebum and is therefore very well absorbed by our skin. The oil is non-comedogenic and absorbs quickly and without residue.
• Kombu seaweed (Laminaria Ochroleuca), also called finger kelp, is a brown algae species that grows in the Mediterranean and Northeast Atlantic. It is rich in minerals and antioxidants and helps hydrate the skin and retain moisture, promoting a firmer and smoother complexion. It also has anti-inflammatory properties that soothe sensitive skin and reduce redness.
• Bakuchiol / Bakuchi seed oil (Bakuchi (Psoralea corylifolia) Seed Oil) is extracted from the seeds and leaves of the Indian plant Psoralea Corylifolia and is considered a natural retinol alternative. A powerful plant for treating skin discoloration, hyperpigmentation, and leukoderma. With antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties, Bakuchi promotes the skin’s natural tone and helps normalize individual skin pigmentation. Bakuchiol has been shown to stimulate collagen production, minimize fine lines and wrinkles, and improve skin texture and firmness. The active ingredient has a long tradition as a medicinal plant in Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Unlike traditional retinoids, it does not cause skin burning, irritation, or redness.
• Olive leaf extract (Olea Europaea (Olive) Leaf Extract) is known for its strong antioxidant properties that protect the skin from free radicals and slow skin aging. It also has anti-inflammatory effects that can soothe redness and irritation while moisturizing the skin. Furthermore, the extract promotes skin cell regeneration and improves skin elasticity, resulting in a smoother and more radiant complexion.
• Jojoba oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) – The high fatty acid content makes the skin soft, supple, and resilient. The oil has antibacterial effects, absorbs quickly, and contains vitamins B, E, minerals, and beta-carotene (provitamin A). It strengthens cell development and renewal, fights skin aging, and strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier. Also very suitable for hair and scalp care. By the way, jojoba oil is technically not an oil but a plant wax.
• Almond oil / Sweet almond oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis / Sweet Almond Oil) is mild and well suited for caring for sensitive skin. Almond oil has soothing, emollient, and moisture-retaining effects. Dry, irritated, and mature skin especially benefits. Almond oil makes the skin soft and supple and is also good for hair care. Vitamins and the high content of unsaturated fatty acids (especially oleic acid) strengthen the barrier function and provide protection.
• Hop extract (Humulus Lupulus (Hops) Cone Extract), obtained from the cones of the hop plant, is a valuable ingredient in skincare known for its soothing and antioxidant properties. It helps revitalize the skin by reducing redness and calming irritated skin. Additionally, hop extract supports skin elasticity and can improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, making it an effective anti-aging ingredient.
• Vitamin E / Tocopherol enables long-lasting moisture retention between cells. This powerful antioxidant neutralizes harmful free radicals and can inhibit oil oxidation, preventing blackheads. Vitamin E also promotes cell regeneration and strengthens the natural function of the skin’s protective barrier.
