The Mahana Coco Infusion by Leahlani is a lightweight, tropical-scented multitasker for skin and hair. Coconut-based lipids, Hawaiian kukui oil, macadamia oil, sunflower oil, and sea buckthorn leave dry skin soft and supple, support the skin barrier, and help retain existing moisture.

There are two variants to choose from: Classic for a naturally silky finish and Kula with finely shimmering, ethically sourced mica for a golden glow in the light.

Key ingredients

• Kukui oil is one of Hawaii's traditional plant oils and is rich in linoleic and linolenic acids. The polyunsaturated fatty acids support the natural lipid barrier, help keep dry and rough skin supple, and give the oil a pleasantly lightweight feel on the skin.
• Macadamia oil contributes primarily oleic and palmitoleic acids to the formula. It intensely nourishes dry skin, supports elasticity and suppleness, and also softens brittle hair lengths. Its silky texture is an ideal match for Mahana's smooth, glossy finish.
• Coconut-based Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides form the lightweight, easily spreadable base of the body oil. They reduce a dry, rough skin feel, soften the skin, and ensure that Mahana can be spread quickly and evenly from head to toe.
• Sunflower oil provides a high proportion of linoleic acid, an important component of the skin's own barrier lipids. It supports a supple skin surface and complements kukui and macadamia with lightweight, barrier-friendly lipid care.
• Sea buckthorn fruit oil is rich in carotenoids, fatty acids, and antioxidant plant compounds. It supports protection against oxidative stress and helps dry skin look nourished, vital, and naturally radiant.
• Vitamin E adds antioxidant protection while also helping preserve the high-quality plant oils in the formula from oxidation. On the skin, it supports a smooth, supple feel and rounds out the oil's lipid-rich care.

How to use

• After showering or bathing, apply generously to still slightly damp skin and massage in gently.
• Apply to dry areas of skin during the day as needed.
• For the hair: work a small amount into damp or dry lengths and ends. Find additional care for dry ends in our hair oils & hair serums.
• As an intensive hair oil treatment: Place the bottle in warm water before showering. Then apply approximately 2–3 tablespoons of the warmed oil to the hair ends and work it in toward the scalp. Wrap the hair in a towel, leave on for about 30 minutes, and then shampoo thoroughly.
• Mahana can also be used as a nourishing body oil in summer, but it provides no UV protection and does not replace sunscreen.
