Application

• Cleanse your face and the Gua Sha stone thoroughly before use. Then apply an essence and a few drops of facial oil. The skin must be sufficiently slippery so that the stone does not pull or rub.
• Hold the stone as flat against the skin as possible and work with gentle to moderate pressure. Repeat each movement slowly three to five times. Do not rub quickly back and forth; instead, use calm, even strokes.
• Neck
  First, gently sweep along the sides of the neck from below the ears toward the collarbone. Do not apply strong pressure to the front center of the neck.
• Jawline
  Place the suitable curve at the chin and slowly guide it along the lower jaw toward the ear. Tense areas around the jaw can then be loosened with small, gentle movements.
• Cheeks and cheekbones
  Work from the center of the face outward: first sweep from the corners of the mouth and the sides of the nose toward the ears, then along the cheekbones toward the temples.
• Eye area
  Using the smaller, rounded side and very little pressure, sweep from the inner corner of the eye outward toward the temples. Do not pull the skin.
• Forehead
  Start in the center of the forehead and work outward toward the temples. Then sweep upward from the eyebrows toward the hairline.
• A short massage lasting three to five minutes can be performed daily or at least three to four times per week. In the morning, the cool stone feels particularly refreshing and can help reduce puffiness. In the evening, the massage helps release the day's tension and work the facial oil in evenly.
• For a more intense cooling effect, the stone can be stored in the refrigerator before use. The freezer is not suitable.
