The No. 19 Patchouli Sweetgrass scented candle by P.F. Candle Co. is a modern, surprisingly bright interpretation of patchouli. Sweetgrass adds a green, almost freshly cut note, accompanied by a soft, creamy nuance. Cedarwood and a delicate smoky note make the fragrance drier and give it more definition.

Patchouli and sandalwood emerge more strongly in the background, giving Patchouli Sweetgrass its warm, earthy base. As a result, the fragrance feels neither heavy nor typically “patchouli”—rather, like open windows on a quiet Saturday, fresh grass after a summer rain, and an incense stick somewhere in the background. Green, soft, and earthy with just the right hint of smoke.

Patchouli Sweetgrass beautifully demonstrates how P.F. reinterprets familiar fragrance notes: here, patchouli is not presented as dark and heavy, but combined with sweetgrass, creamy woods, and a delicate smoky note.

How to use

Trim the wick to approx. 6 mm before each lighting.
Allow the wax to melt to the edge of the glass each time the candle burns, whenever possible, to prevent tunneling.
Do not burn the candle for longer than four hours at a time.
Place the candle on a heat-resistant surface and avoid drafts.
Never leave a burning candle unattended and keep it away from children and pets.
Discontinue use when only about 6 mm of wax remains in the glass.

What does Patchouli Sweetgrass by P.F. Candle Co. smell like?
Patchouli Sweetgrass is green, earthy, and soft. Sweetgrass evokes freshly cut grass, while cedarwood and a delicate smoky note make the fragrance drier. Patchouli and sandalwood form a warm, calm base. Overall, the fragrance feels noticeably brighter and more uncomplicated than many classic patchouli scents.

Is Patchouli Sweetgrass a heavy patchouli fragrance?
No. Although patchouli plays an important role, it is not the sole focus. Sweetgrass and the creamy woody notes give the fragrance plenty of lightness, while smoke and cedarwood add depth. It is also a good choice for anyone who often finds classic patchouli too dark or intense.

What is sweetgrass?
In fragrance compositions, sweetgrass brings a soft, green, and slightly sweet grassy note. In Patchouli Sweetgrass, it is reminiscent of freshly cut grass after rain and creates a beautiful contrast with earthy patchouli and warm woods.

We carefully process and package your order in our warehouse in Reutlingen. Processing usually takes within 48 hours. As soon as your order has been handed over to the shipping service provider, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking. After handover to DHL, the shipping time within Germany is usually 1–3 business days.

The shipping costs 4.95€; for orders over 60€, we offer free shipping within Germany.

International orders are shipped depending on the destination country and package size with DHL International or Deutsche Post Warenpost International Premium. The available shipping methods and costs are shown at checkout. Shipping time depends on the destination country, chosen shipping method, and customs clearance.

Returns: You can return unopened, unused, and undamaged products within 14 days of delivery. For returns within Germany, we provide a return label for 5.95€ upon request. Returns from abroad must be organized and paid for by the customer.

We package carefully, lovingly, and environmentally friendly. The box, filling material, and greeting card are made from recycled paper, and even the packing tape can be disposed of in the paper recycling bin.
