Sonia Hully founded Nailberry in 2012. The brand began with a luxury nail care spa in Chelsea, London, and quickly developed into an award-winning nail polish collection featuring premium polishes. Sonia noticed that her clients often complained about dry and damaged nails, so she developed a range of nail polishes designed to meet their needs.

The result was the award-winning vegan Nailberry L’Oxygéné collection. Thanks to patented technology, the color polishes are permeable to oxygen and water vapor - a unique feature that Nailberry supports with independent permeability tests. The Nailberry philosophy combines the joy of beautiful nails with careful ingredient selection and respect for the environment and nature. The L’Oxygéné polishes are vegan, certified cruelty-free and vegan, and Halal-certified. The brand describes its classic formula as 12-Free; some newer shades are already labeled 21-Free. The list of excluded ingredients therefore depends on the polish in question. The range was also expanded with high-quality nail care products such as the Strengthen & Breathe Base Coat, the Shine & Breathe Top Coat, and the Clean Nail Colour Remover. Nourishing base coats, oils, and serums can keep the nail surface and cuticles supple and protect them from external factors. Hand and foot care products are now also part of the range.
