Usage

• In the evening, gently massage in circular motions onto clean, dry skin.
• If needed, follow with a moisturizer.
• Leave on overnight.

Active Ingredients

• Kaolin is one of the natural healing clays. For cleansing, its mild abrasive effect is used on blemished skin, as the powdery texture removes dead and hardened skin cells. The grain size of kaolin is much finer than other healing clays, making it suitable even for thin and sensitive skin. Kaolin also absorbs dirt particles from pores along with skin sebum, helping to prevent pimples and blackheads.
• Lactic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid that gently exfoliates and can reduce hyperpigmentation and age spots. It also has the ability to shrink large pores and revive dull, uneven complexions.
• Jojoba oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) – Its high fatty acid content makes the skin soft, supple, and resilient. The oil has antibacterial properties, absorbs quickly, and contains vitamins B, E, minerals, and beta-carotene (provitamin A). It strengthens cell development and renewal, fights skin aging, and reinforces the skin’s natural protective barrier. Also very suitable for hair and scalp care. By the way, jojoba oil is technically not an oil but a plant wax.
• Shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter) is extracted from the fruit of the karité tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a care and healing agent. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, and beta-carotene, the butter protects against environmental stress, binds moisture, fights free radicals, promotes cell regeneration, and makes skin and hair soft and smooth.
• Activated charcoal (Charcoal Powder) is porous like a sponge and therefore has a huge surface area. This gives it the characteristic ability for so-called adsorption. This means the carbon particles can bind other substances such as toxins, chemicals, odor molecules, and impurities to their surface. Activated charcoal, also known as medicinal charcoal, has been a known remedy since ancient times.
• Glycerin – This sugar alcohol is part of the skin’s natural moisture system. Lipids (fats) in the skin are made up of glycerin and fatty acids. Glycerin has a hydrating effect and helps prevent water loss. It also stabilizes the skin’s barrier function.

• Since the Middle Ages, yarrow (Achillea millefolium) has been known as a classic medicinal plant in Europe. The plant has astringent and anti-inflammatory properties, which especially benefit oily, impure, and inflamed skin. During wartime, yarrow was used as a so-called "soldier’s herb" for stopping bleeding. There were hardly any wound infections because yarrow has remarkable antiseptic properties.
