The Intense Moisturizing Mask by TEAM DR JOSEPH is an intensive moisturizing treatment for dry, dehydrated, and stressed skin. Hyaluronic acid combines with glycerin, sodium PCA, urea, sodium lactate, and other natural moisturizing factors to replenish the skin’s moisture reserves and leave it looking plumper, softer, and smoother.

Niacinamide supports the skin barrier and helps the skin retain moisture more effectively. Fig, ginseng, comfrey, and carrot complement the formula with nourishing, soothing, and antioxidant plant compounds. Olive and jojoba oils provide valuable lipids without making the mask feel heavy or occlusive.

The light cream texture spreads pleasantly and is removed after 12 to 15 minutes. It is especially suitable when the skin has become unbalanced due to dry air, changes in weather, travel, or sun exposure and needs additional moisture in the short term.

Key active ingredients

• Hyaluronic acid & natural moisturizing complex – Hyaluronic acid, glycerin, sodium PCA, urea, sodium lactate, erythritol, fructose, glycine, and inositol work together to bind water in the skin and replenish its moisture reserves. This leaves the skin feeling plumper, smoother, and less tight.
• Niacinamide – Vitamin B3 supports the formation of important skin lipids and thus an intact barrier function. It helps the skin retain moisture more effectively, smooths the skin’s texture, and promotes a more even complexion.
• Fig, ginseng & comfrey – Fig extract complements the intensive moisturizing care with antioxidant plant compounds. Ginseng supports a more vibrant, firmer-looking complexion, while comfrey has traditionally been valued for its soothing and regenerating properties.
• Jojoba & olive oils – These skin-similar lipids nourish dry and rough skin, leaving it supple and supporting its protective function. They complement the many humectants with a light replenishing lipid component.

How to use

• Apply once or twice a week to the cleansed face, neck, and décolleté.
• Leave on for 12 to 15 minutes.
• Then gently remove with lukewarm water.
• Use additionally as needed for dry or sun-stressed skin.
• TEAM DR JOSEPH also recommends the mask as an eye mask because the formula is free from so-called migrating oils. Apply sparingly around the eye area and avoid direct contact with the eyes.

Which skin types is the Intense Moisturizing Mask suitable for?
The mask is suitable for all skin types, especially dry, dehydrated, rough, or stressed skin. It is a good choice when tightness and a lack of moisture are the main concerns.

How does the mask differ from a rich face cream?
The formula focuses on an intensive, time-limited moisturizing treatment. In addition to hyaluronic acid, it contains several components of the skin’s natural moisturizing system, such as sodium PCA, urea, amino acids, and sugars. The mask is removed after 12 to 15 minutes, followed by the usual skincare routine.

Can I use the Intense Moisturizing Mask after sun exposure?
Yes. TEAM DR JOSEPH expressly recommends it as a gentle treatment after sun exposure. The combination of humectants, plant extracts, and light lipids helps sun-stressed skin look soft and well moisturized again.

Does the mask contain prickly pear?
No. The current formula contains fig extract from Ficus carica. Prickly pear, or cactus pear, is Opuntia ficus-indica and is not included in the current INCI list.

Can the mask also be used around the eyes?
Yes. Due to its formula without so-called migrating oils, TEAM DR JOSEPH also describes it as an eye mask. Apply only a small amount around the eye area and avoid direct contact with the eyes.

How often should I use the mask?
Use once or twice a week. For temporarily very dehydrated or stressed skin, it can be used additionally as needed.
