The Purifying Cleansing Gel by TEAM DR JOSEPH is a refreshing daily cleanser for combination, oily, enlarged-pore, and blemish-prone skin. The lightweight gel removes dirt, excess sebum, and residue without leaving the skin feeling dry or tight.

Gentle plant-based surfactants combine with aloe vera, green tea and lemon balm water, and glycerin, which help maintain the skin’s moisture balance during cleansing. Witch hazel, alpine willowherb, and zinc lactate complement the formula specifically for oily and blemish-prone skin and help promote a clearer, more balanced complexion.

Papaya juice, grape, ginger, and wild carrot add additional plant compounds to the formula. Tea tree, sage, thyme, peppermint, and lime give the gel its fresh, clean character.

The Purifying Cleansing Gel foams only lightly and is easy to use morning and evening. We particularly like that, especially for combination skin, it cleanses thoroughly without leaving that typical “squeaky-clean” feeling of tightness.

How to use

• Apply morning and evening to the damp face, neck, and décolleté.
• Massage in using gentle, circular movements.
• Then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
• For heavier makeup or waterproof sunscreen, use an oil cleanser first and apply the Purifying Cleansing Gel as the second cleansing step.
• TEAM DR JOSEPH tip: Whipped into a lather with a sea sponge, the gel is also suitable for wet shaving.
• Then, for example, use the Deep Purifying Toner.

What is the difference compared with the Delicate Cleansing Milk?
The Delicate Cleansing Milk is creamier and more specifically suited to dry, sensitive, and demanding skin. The Purifying Cleansing Gel feels fresher and lighter and is the more natural choice for combination skin, excess sebum, and blemishes.

Can the gel also be used for wet shaving?
Yes. TEAM DR JOSEPH recommends whipping the cleansing gel into a lather with a sea sponge and using it for wet shaving as well.
