Aloe vera juice forms the moisturizing base of the formula. Jojoba and sunflower oils nourish the skin during cleansing and help prevent an unpleasantly dry or tight feeling. Lactobacillus ferment and magnolia bark extract support a balanced, soothed complexion.

How to use

• As a facial cleanser:
  Apply approximately a hazelnut-sized amount to dry, unclean skin and massage in gently. Moisten your fingertips with a little lukewarm water and massage the skin briefly again. Then remove thoroughly with lukewarm water or a soft cleansing cloth.
• As an exfoliating mask:
  Distribute the Cleansing Cream evenly over dry skin and leave on for up to five minutes. Then rinse off with plenty of lukewarm water. For sensitive skin or skin not yet accustomed to enzyme exfoliants, begin with a shorter contact time.
• For normal, oily, or resilient combination skin, the Cleansing Cream can be used more frequently as needed. For dry, sensitive, or reactive skin, initially use it once or twice a week.
• Avoid the eye area. For waterproof eye makeup or sunscreen, use an oil-based cleanser first.

Active ingredients

• Aloe vera extract / juice (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract / Juice) provides natural moisture, prevents the skin from drying out, and strengthens the natural skin barrier. Aloe vera contains vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and essential amino acids. It supplies the skin with oxygen and is considered effective in supporting cell renewal. It binds moisture, has a cooling, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial effect.
• Kaolin is one of the natural healing clays. For cleansing, its gentle abrasive effect is used for skin impurities, as its powdery structure removes dead / keratinized skin cells. Kaolin particles are considerably finer than those of other healing clays, making it suitable for thin and sensitive skin as well. Along with sebum, kaolin absorbs dirt particles from the pores, thereby helping prevent pimples and blackheads.
• Apple seed extract has a mild astringent and exfoliating effect. The vitamin- and antioxidant-rich fruit has a balancing, invigorating, anti-inflammatory effect and positively influences the skin’s moisture balance.
• Willow bark (Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract) has anti-inflammatory and astringent properties. It stimulates metabolism, has a gentle exfoliating effect, supports a smooth complexion, and refines the appearance of pores. Natural salicylic acid promotes skin renewal and has an antibacterial effect.
• Papaya—the high vitamin C content supports collagen production and has a skin-firming effect. Beta-carotene, vitamins A and E are powerful antioxidants that fight free radicals and improve the complexion. Enzymes loosen dead skin cells and refine the complexion. Papaya contains the enzyme papain, which helps exfoliate the skin naturally to remove dead skin cells and cleanse the pores. Papaya also helps moisturize and regenerate the skin while improving elasticity. Its high vitamin C content helps brighten and even out skin tone.
• Jojoba oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil)—its high fatty acid content makes the skin soft, supple, and resilient. The oil has an antibacterial effect, absorbs quickly, and contains vitamins B and E, minerals, and beta-carotene (provitamin A). It supports cell development and renewal, counteracts skin aging, and strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier. It is also highly suitable for hair and scalp care. Incidentally, strictly speaking, jojoba oil is not an oil but a plant wax.
• Lactobacillus—probiotic lactic acid bacteria support the skin’s natural defense mechanisms. They support the microflora and thereby combat acne-causing bacteria, inflammation, and impurities. It reduces moisture loss and soothes itching, dry skin, and burning sensations.
