Usage

• After using a toner, massage a pea-sized amount of the balm into the still slightly damp skin.
• The Beauty Balm can also be mixed with a mineral makeup powder to create a silky, lightly covering foundation.
• Can also be used for cleansing. Massage a small amount into dry skin and remove with a warm, damp cloth.

Active Ingredients

• Squalane or Squalane Oil (Squalane) protects the skin from moisture loss and prevents the oxidation of the skin’s natural fats. This regenerating oil helps prevent age spots, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, makes the skin supple, and promotes oxygen supply and cell regeneration. It is mostly derived from olive oil, less commonly from rice bran or wheat germ oil. By the way, squalane was originally obtained from shark liver, hence the name. Squalus is the Latin name for shark.
• Kokum Butter (Kokum Butter), also called Goa butter, is extracted from the seeds of the kokum tree (Garcinia indica). Kokum butter mainly consists of stearic and oleic acids. Kokum has regenerative properties, protects the skin from environmental stressors, provides moisture, and promotes a refined skin texture.
• Cupuaçu Butter (Theobroma Grandiflorum Seed Butter) is intensely moisturizing and strengthens the skin barrier with oleic acid, palmitic acid, arachidic acid, and phytosterol. The high antioxidant content also helps fight free radicals. It has a soothing effect and is also very suitable for sensitive skin. 
• Tamanu Oil (Calophyllum Inophyllum Oil) is a moisturizing oil that also has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. It accelerates wound healing and stimulates the growth of new, healthy tissue. Use it for inflamed, irritated, and barrier-damaged skin. It is also ideal for problematic and very sensitive skin.
• Murumuru Butter is extracted from the seeds of the Murumuru palm. Used for centuries by indigenous people in the Amazon, the butter provides intense moisture and soothes dry, cracked, and sensitive skin. With an effective composition of essential fatty acids and pro-vitamin A, Murumuru helps restore the elasticity of mature and damaged skin. The butter also has strong antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, penetrates the skin quickly, and leaves a smooth, velvety-soft skin feel.
• Co-Enzyme Q10 - a small-molecule antioxidant that can penetrate deep into skin cells. It has anti-inflammatory, regenerating, and skin-building effects. It inhibits collagen breakdown and reduces skin damage caused by free radicals.
• Helichrysum essential oil, also known as Immortelle or everlasting flower (Helichrysum Essential Oil), has astringent and anti-inflammatory properties and supports wound healing. The oil is said to activate collagen synthesis, thereby strengthening connective tissue, stimulating skin regeneration, and improving skin elasticity. Due to its skin-soothing properties, it is also very suitable for irritated and sensitive skin.
