The Veil by Heretic Parfum describes a threshold between two states: the moment when familiar contours soften and the air in the room imperceptibly changes. Like light passing through a fine, transparent fabric, the composition feels permeable, calm, and lost in thought.
The opening is cool and aromatic, while soft floral facets unfold at the heart. Light woods and musk notes remain as a delicate drydown. The Veil does not develop linearly: It becomes denser, grows airier again and recedes before unexpectedly becoming perceptible once more.
At its heart is a multilayered musk structure that reflects the warmth and intimacy of skin, while remaining abstract and difficult to place. Iris butter brings a quiet, powdery calm to the fragrance. Vetiver and Atlas cedarwood give it an earthy grounding, while patchouli and Veramoss underpin the structure with a darker, mossy-woody depth .

Heretic Parfum creates distinctive, gender-neutral fragrances with a botanical signature. Founder and perfumer Douglas Little combines botanical raw materials with selected modern fragrance molecules. The fragrances are produced in small batches at the studio in Los Angeles and are allowed to develop individually over time, with warmth, and through movement.

GHOSTS – Heretic Parfum x Chelsea Wolfe
The Veil is part of the GHOSTS Collection, a collaboration between Heretic Parfum and musician Chelsea Wolfe. The five fragrances in the collection – Spectral Grace, Ektoplasma, The Veil, Doppelgänger, and Shadow People – explore themes such as memory, perception, and fleeting presence.
The fragrances in the collection are deliberately designed to be transparent and fluid. Spectral musk notes, light woods, ghostly flowers, and subtle animalic nuances appear, recede, and emerge again later.
Within the collection, The Veil represents the boundary between intimacy and distance. Soft musk notes, powdery iris butter, and light woods seem to condense and dissolve again. The fragrance therefore remains calm, permeable, and difficult to fully grasp.

Application
- Spray onto the inner wrists, behind the ears, along the sides of the neck, on the décolleté, or in the crooks of the arms as needed.
- The Veil changes with heat and movement and can be reapplied throughout the day.

The composition combines botanical extracts, naturally derived fragrance ingredients, and selected safe synthetic fragrance and functional ingredients. Each ingredient was deliberately chosen to balance The Veil's powdery iris facet, soft musk notes, and woody-earthy structure.

We carefully process and package your order in our warehouse in Reutlingen. Processing usually takes within 48 hours. As soon as your order has been handed over to the shipping service provider, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking. After handover to DHL, the shipping time within Germany is usually 1–3 business days.
The shipping costs 4.95€; for orders over 60€, we offer free shipping within Germany.
International orders are shipped depending on the destination country and package size with DHL International or Deutsche Post Warenpost International Premium. Returns: You can return unopened, unused, and undamaged products within 14 days of delivery. For returns within Germany, we provide a return label for 5.95€ upon request. Returns from abroad must be organized and paid for by the customer.
We package carefully, lovingly, and environmentally friendly. The box, filling material, and greeting card are made from recycled paper, and even the packing tape can be disposed of in the paper recycling bin.
