Ritual
Smudging is one of the oldest rituals in human history. On every continent and throughout all times, people have used the burning of plant parts to create specific effects and emotions. - Recommended use: Hold the bundle at about a 45° angle to the flame of a candle, match, or lighter. Let the tip catch fire, then extinguish the flame so the bundle smokes. Move the smoking stick through your home, workspace, bathroom, car, or anywhere you want to release energy.
- Safety note: Ensure adequate ventilation and use a fireproof dish made of metal, glass, or clay to safely extinguish the embers.
