The Rahua Heat Protectant Shield is a lightweight, plant-based leave-in spray for all hair types. It protects the hair from heat stress when blow-drying, straightening, or styling with a curling iron. At the same time, the spray provides softness, shine, and a polished finish - without silicones or a heavy feeling.

A heat-resistant plant complex of Rahua, Sacha Inchi, Morete, avocado, almond, and castor oils, as well as shea butter, supports the lengths when styling with a blow-dryer, curling iron, or straightener at temperatures up to 210 °C. Hibiscus extract, panthenol, and hydrolyzed quinoa complement the formula with hydration and antioxidant care. The tropical scent of guava and coconut makes application a pleasant styling ritual.

Key active ingredients

• Rahua, Morete & Sacha Inchi oils: The Amazonian oil complex supplies the hair with valuable unsaturated fatty acids and helps keep dry, rough, or heat-stressed lengths soft and supple. Rahua oil supports smoothness and natural shine, Sacha Inchi provides particularly high levels of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, and Morete oil adds carotenoids and tocopherols with antioxidant properties. Together, the oils support a smoother, more flexible hair feel and help counteract dull or brittle hair.
• Avocado, almond & castor oils and shea butter: The rich lipid complex nourishes the hair fiber and helps limit moisture loss during blow-drying, straightening, or curling. The plant oils and shea butter improve softness and slip, supporting hair prone to dryness, rough ends, and breakage from repeated heat styling. At the same time, the finish remains soft and cared for rather than stiff or silicone-like.
• Hydrolyzed quinoa: The broken-down plant proteins and amino acids attach to porous and stressed areas of the hair fiber and improve its surface properties. This can make the hair feel smoother, easier to comb, and shinier - especially beneficial for color-treated, dry, or regularly heat-styled lengths.
• Panthenol: Provitamin B5 not only provides hydration, but can also penetrate the hair fiber and support its mechanical properties. It improves softness and elasticity and helps make brittle, stressed hair more resistant to mechanical stress and breakage. At the same time, panthenol contributes to a smoother, shinier finish.
• Hibiscus: Hibiscus flowers contain anthocyanins and other antioxidant plant compounds that protect the hair from oxidative stress caused by external influences. The extract also supports shine and softness, complementing the formula's protective focus, particularly for color-treated, dull, or frequently styled hair.
• Cetyl Alcohol & Stearalkonium Chloride: These two conditioning ingredients smooth the hair surface, reduce static, and improve combability. This allows the leave-in care to distribute more evenly through the lengths, leaving the hair feeling softer and reducing mechanical stress during brushing and subsequent styling.
