The Retinol Restorative Overnight Balm contains rich avocado butter, beeswax, and plant oils that care for the skin with a soft, smooth feel and provide intense hydration. The balm has a light scent of skin-firming, organic jasmine essential oil.

How to Use

• Before bedtime, take a small amount of balm from the jar, warm it slightly between your hands/fingers, and apply a thin layer to the cleansed face.
• The next morning, use sunscreen with adequate SPF.

Active Ingredients

• Retinol, retinal, retinoids are derivatives of vitamin A, which plays a crucial role in cell growth processes. Retinol is converted in the body to retinoic acid, where it then exerts its effects. This vitamin supports the skin’s regeneration process, stimulates metabolism, and promotes collagen production. Its plumping effect improves skin texture, making the skin appear fuller, smoother, and more even. Retinol increases sensitivity to sunlight and is best used with UV protection or in the evening.
• Olive oil (Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit / Leaf Oil) moisturizes and provides a soft skin feel. It consists of 85% essential fatty acids with a high content of linoleic acid, which supports the skin’s protective barrier. Vitamin E and polyphenols are powerful antioxidants that protect against premature skin aging.
• Avocado (Persea gratissima oil / fruit extract) is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, proteins, copper, folic acid, and magnesium – all building blocks for healthy skin and hair. Due to its high phytosterol content, it spreads easily and absorbs quickly. It supports the skin’s moisture balance, protects against dryness, and helps prevent wrinkles. In hair care, it adds shine, moisturizes dry, brittle, and damaged hair, strengthens it, and repairs damage.
• Jasmine (Jasminum Officinale Oil / Extract) – the sensual, soft, and exotically floral scent of jasmine has a calming effect, improves mood, reduces anxiety, and is said to be energizing and aphrodisiac. Jasmine has antibacterial and circulation-boosting properties, promotes skin cell self-regeneration, and combats inflammatory skin conditions. Also suitable for hair care. Jasmine oil strengthens hair roots and moisturizes hair. Hair becomes smoother, shinier, gains more volume, and hair breakage is reduced.
• Vitamin C is a very powerful antioxidant involved in various enzymatic processes. Among other benefits, it promotes collagen synthesis, acts as a radical scavenger, and protects the skin from oxidative stress. Vitamin C evens out skin tone and promotes a uniform, radiant complexion. It can reduce sun damage and pigmentation spots and combat inflammation and skin irritation.
• Vitamin E / Tocopherol enables long-lasting moisture retention between cells. This strong antioxidant neutralizes harmful free radicals and can inhibit oil oxidation, preventing blackheads. Vitamin E also promotes cell regeneration and strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier.
• Beeswax (Cera Flava, Cera Alba) – The wax forms a protective film on the skin, binding moisture without clogging pores. Beeswax also has mild antiseptic properties and can reduce inflammation. It soothes irritated skin and may even help with eczema. The vitamin A contained in the wax promotes cell renewal and thus counteracts premature skin aging.
