Active Ingredients

• Zinc Oxide is a white pigment found in nature. Zinc oxide is common in skincare; it acts against pathogens and inflammation and promotes wound healing. Zinc oxide is also a mineral UV filter that protects the skin from harmful UVB and UVA rays. Mineral filters are small particles that reflect sunlight. The UV blocker is photostable, so it does not break down under UV radiation and maintains its protective effect for a longer time.
• Titanium Dioxide is a natural white pigment used in skincare as a UV filter. This mineral filter reflects sunlight and thus protects the skin from harmful UV rays. Titanium dioxide and zinc oxide are both good UV filters that protect against both UVA and UVB radiation. Titanium dioxide offers slightly better protection against UVB rays, while zinc oxide protects better against UVA rays. A combination of both pigments can optimize sun protection.
• Aloe Vera Extract / Juice (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract / Juice) provides natural moisture, prevents skin dryness, and strengthens the natural skin barrier. Aloe Vera contains vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and essential amino acids. It supplies the skin with oxygen and is considered effective in supporting cell renewal. It binds moisture, has a cooling, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial effect.
• Beeswax (Cera Flava, Cera Alba) forms a protective film on the skin and thus binds moisture without clogging pores. Beeswax also has a mild antiseptic effect and can soothe inflammation. It calms irritated skin and can even help with eczema. The vitamin A contained in the wax promotes cell renewal and thus counteracts premature skin aging.
• Hyaluronic Acid (Hyaluronic Acid / Sodium Hyaluronate) stores moisture up to 1000 times its weight. Topical hyaluronic acid forms a thin, viscoelastic surface film that locks moisture on the skin surface and helps smooth the skin and increase elasticity. As we age, we lose our natural hyaluronic acid, which is one of the main causes of wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid helps fill in fine lines and wrinkles and plumps the skin.
• Sea Buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides fruit / seed oil) is rich in anti-inflammatory omega fatty acids, making it especially beneficial for inflammatory skin conditions like acne, eczema, and rosacea. Sea buckthorn is an excellent source of vitamin A, which increases cell turnover and promotes skin cell regeneration. The concentration of vitamin C in this potent oil provides antioxidant protection, strengthens collagen in the skin, and reduces the appearance of wrinkles and photoaging.
• Grape Seed Oil (Vitis Vinifera Seed Oil/Extract) is high in linoleic acid and vitamins E and K. It is considered an oil with exceptionally strong antioxidant and cell-protective properties. The oil promotes skin elasticity, has anti-inflammatory properties, and helps regulate sebum production.
