The plants and mushrooms are processed using a double-extraction process: a slow decoction is combined with organic alcohol and vegetable glycerin. This creates a concentrated, slightly sweet elixir with no added sugar, honey, fillers, or binding agents.
Anima Mundi was founded by Costa Rican herbalist Adriana Ayales. This modern herbal apothecary combines traditional herbal knowledge from Central and South America with Ayurveda, Chinese Daoist traditions, and Western herbalism.

Elderberry (Sambucus nigra) has a long tradition in European folk and herbal medicine and was particularly valued during the cold season. Its deep-dark berries naturally contain anthocyanins and other secondary plant compounds. Modern research is also focusing intensively on elderberry and its characteristic plant compounds. -
Reishi, shiitake & maitake
These three mushrooms are firmly rooted in East Asian nutritional and herbal traditions. Modern research focuses, among other things, on their characteristic polysaccharides and other bioactive plant compounds. -
Cordyceps
Cordyceps has a long history of use in Chinese and Tibetan herbal traditions and is now one of the best-known functional mushrooms.

Scutellaria baicalensis is an important plant in traditional Chinese herbal medicine. Its characteristic flavonoids in particular are the focus of modern research. -

- Shake well before use.
- Take 1 teaspoon (5 ml) daily, either neat or added to water, tea, or juice.
- Store protected from heat and direct light.
The 59-ml bottle contains approximately 12 servings, and the 118-ml bottle approximately 24 servings.
Do not exceed the stated recommended daily intake. Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of young children.
Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. This is particularly due to the Baikal skullcap it contains. If you have existing medical conditions or are taking medication, consult a doctor before use.

What is Black Elderberry Elixir?
A concentrated liquid extract of black elderberry, four functional mushrooms, Baikal skullcap, and ginger. The formula combines European elderberry tradition with mushrooms and plants from East Asian herbal traditions.
What does double extraction mean?
The botanicals are first slowly decocted and then extracted with alcohol and vegetable glycerin. This makes it possible to combine different plant components in a single liquid extract.
Is the elixir sweetened?
It contains no added sugar or honey. Vegetable glycerin naturally has a slightly sweet taste.

When can I use Black Elderberry Elixir?
The elixir is suitable for daily use and, due to its traditional botanicals, is particularly interesting for the autumn and winter months.
We carefully process and package your order in our warehouse in Reutlingen. Processing usually takes within 48 hours. As soon as your order has been handed over to the shipping service provider, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking. After handover to DHL, the shipping time within Germany is usually 1–3 business days.
The shipping costs 4.95€; for orders over 60€, we offer free shipping within Germany.
International orders are shipped depending on the destination country and package size with DHL International or Deutsche Post Warenpost International Premium. Returns: You can return unopened, unused, and undamaged products within 14 days of delivery. For returns within Germany, we provide a return label for 5.95€ upon request. Returns from abroad must be organized and paid for by the customer.
We package carefully, lovingly, and environmentally friendly. The box, filling material, and greeting card are made from recycled paper, and even the packing tape can be disposed of in the paper recycling bin.
