Usage

Active Ingredients

• Retinol, retinal, retinoids are derivatives of Vitamin A, which plays a crucial role in cell growth processes. Retinol is converted in the body to retinoic acid, where it then exerts its effects. This vitamin supports the skin’s regeneration process, stimulates metabolism, and promotes collagen production. Its plumping effect improves skin texture, making the skin appear fuller, smoother, and more even. Retinol increases sensitivity to sunlight and is best used with UV protection or in the evening.
• Avocado (Persea gratissima oil / fruit extract) is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, Vitamin E, proteins, copper, folic acid, and magnesium – all building blocks for healthy skin and hair. Due to its high phytosterol content, it spreads easily and absorbs quickly. It supports the skin’s moisture balance, protects against dryness, and helps prevent wrinkles. In hair care, it adds shine, moisturizes dry, brittle, and damaged hair, strengthens it, and repairs damage.
• Hydrolyzed quinoa (Hydrolyzed Quinoa) – Known by the ancient Incas as the “mother of all grains,” this gluten-free superfood revitalizes skin and hair. Rich in vitamins and amino acids, it inhibits collagen breakdown, supports connective tissue, promotes healing and moisture retention, and reduces signs of fatigue.
• Rosehip seed oil or wild rose oil (Rosa Canina Fruit Oil) is extracted from the fruits of the wild rose and is considered a highly effective plant oil for skincare. The oil is rich in provitamin A, Vitamins C and E, minerals, carotenoids, and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Wild rose oil fights free radicals, promotes skin cell renewal, and balances skin tone. It supports collagen production, is well tolerated, and is especially suitable for dry, flaky skin, pigmentation spots, and scars. Acne-prone skin also benefits from its high content of anti-inflammatory linoleic and linolenic acids.
• Coffee seed oil/extract (Coffea Arabica / Robusta Seed Oil / Extract (coffee beans)) is obtained from green, unroasted coffee beans. With its high content of linoleic acid, polyphenols, sterols, and Vitamin E, coffee seed oil combats free radicals and signs of premature skin aging. Coffee seed oil/extract moisturizes, strengthens the skin’s natural barrier function, and is an effective stimulant for collagen and elastin synthesis. It firms the skin and supports skin firmness, while caffeine promotes circulation.
• Cocoa butter (Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter) spreads easily and leaves a velvety, soft skin feel. Saturated fatty acids like palmitic and stearic acid provide emollient effects and strengthen the skin barrier. Vitamin E, alpha-tocopherol, trace elements, and minerals help the skin regenerate and compensate for cell damage. A powerful moisturizer, especially for dry and mature skin.
• Ceramides are lipids (fats) naturally found in our skin. They form the basis of the skin’s barrier function. The skin barrier prevents harmful substances from entering the skin and keeps the skin well hydrated. A functioning skin barrier is essential for healthy skin. Ceramides reduce water loss from the skin, also called TEWL (Trans Epidermal Water Loss), protect against environmental stressors, bacteria, and other influences the skin is exposed to. Ceramides are therefore an effective anti-aging ingredient that also helps keep the skin smooth and soft.
• Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) supports the synthesis of lipids and ceramides essential for the skin’s barrier function. It improves skin texture and evens out uneven skin tone. The vitamin also helps with hyperpigmentation and redness. Niacinamide can regulate sebum production and reduce overproduction. This makes pores appear smaller and less “stretched.” Due to its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, niacinamide can also positively influence inflammation and moderate acne.
