Application

• Apply in the evening to cleansed skin and gently massage in.
• For gentle facial cleansing, use a cleansing oil, a mild foam cleanser, micellar water, a moisturizing facial soap, or a gel.

Active Ingredients

• Birch sap has a proven positive effect on signs of premature skin aging. Birch is known for its skin-healing and cleansing properties and also acts as an astringent. Birch has anti-inflammatory and skin-soothing properties, supports scalp health, and helps against hair loss and dandruff.
• Jojoba oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) – The high fatty acid content makes the skin soft, smooth, and resilient. The oil is antibacterial, absorbs quickly, and contains vitamins B, E, minerals, and beta-carotene (provitamin A). It strengthens cell development and renewal, fights skin aging, and strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier. Also very suitable for hair and scalp care. By the way, jojoba oil is technically not an oil but a plant wax.
• Rice bran oil (Oryza sativa bran oil) is extracted from the fat- and vitamin-rich rice bran, which consists of the fruit wall and seed coat of the rice grain. The oil contains a lot of vitamin E and essential unsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids (linoleic acid, linolenic acid, myristic acid). It is a light, fast-absorbing oil that soothes irritated and dry skin conditions. The ingredient is also frequently used for sensitive or barrier-disturbed skin.
• Squalane or squalane oil (Squalane) is a light, non-comedogenic, and non-greasy oil that leaves the skin silky soft. Squalane is a natural component of our skin barrier and is therefore very well absorbed by our skin. It protects the skin from moisture loss and prevents oxidation of the skin’s own fats. The regenerating oil prevents age spots, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, makes the skin supple, and promotes oxygen supply and cell regeneration. It is mostly derived from olive oil, less commonly from rice bran or wheat germ oil. For cosmetics, squalene is converted into squalane. Squalane no longer contains unsaturated compounds and is therefore oxidation-resistant and longer-lasting. By the way, squalane was originally obtained from shark liver, hence the name. Squalus is the Latin name for shark.
• Mango seed butter (Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter) – Native mango butter is the fruit kernel fat of the tropical fruit. Mango butter moisturizes and has a soothing and regenerating effect on skin and scalp. The nutrient-rich butter contains various fatty acids, vitamins A, C, D, and E, as well as various minerals.
• Hyaluronic acid (Hyaluronic Acid / Sodium Hyaluronate) stores moisture up to 1000 times its weight. Hyaluronic acid is a main component of connective tissue; it fills and supports connective tissue. Due to its ability to bind large amounts of water, it is responsible for the skin’s moisture content. Hyaluronic acid also promotes skin firmness and elasticity. As we age, we lose our natural hyaluronic acid, which is one of the main causes of wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid helps fill in fine lines and plump the skin.
• Carrageen moss (Gigartina Stellata Extract) is a red algae species from the North Atlantic, similar to Irish moss (Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenan)), which is why the two are also called “twin red algae.” It provides intense hydration, soothes skin irritations and redness, and forms a protective film that shields the skin from environmental influences. It also contains antioxidants that help fight free radicals and slow premature skin aging.
• Alteromonas ferment extract (Alteromonas Ferment Extract) is obtained from the fermentation of marine bacteria and is rich in amino acids, vitamins, and minerals. In skincare, it offers moisturizing, soothing, and anti-inflammatory properties that can reduce redness and skin irritation. Additionally, the extract promotes cell renewal, improves skin elasticity, and protects against harmful environmental influences, making it a valuable ingredient in moisturizing and regenerating products.
