Active Ingredients

• Ceramides are lipids (fats) naturally found in our skin. They form the basis for the barrier function of our skin. The skin barrier ensures that no harmful substances penetrate the skin and that the skin remains well hydrated. A functioning skin barrier is essential for healthy skin. Ceramides reduce water loss from the skin, also called TEWL (Trans Epidermal Water Loss), protect against environmental stressors, bacteria, and other influences the skin is exposed to. Ceramides are therefore an effective anti-aging ingredient that also helps keep the skin smooth and soft.
• Lactococcus ferment is derived from the lactic acid bacteria Lactococcus lactis and is used in cosmetics for its moisturizing, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. It supports a healthy balance of the skin flora, strengthens the natural skin protection, and promotes healthy skin.
• Ginkgo extract (Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract) has been known as a medicinal herb since ancient times and is a powerful adaptogen from traditional Chinese medicine.
