The Floral Essence from The Glow combines the light freshness of a toner with the nourishing properties of a serum. After cleansing, the gel-like essence hydrates the skin, supports a resilient skin barrier and prepares it optimally for a facial oil, balm or cream.

Its lightweight texture can be gently patted onto the face, neck and décolleté and absorbs quickly. It is suitable for daily use in the morning and evening, as well as as a refreshing hydration step throughout the day. It is especially well suited to skin that feels dehydrated, tired, sensitive or unbalanced.

Application

• After cleansing, place a few drops in the palms of your hands and gently Face, neck and décolleté pat or press in.
• Then apply a facial oil, balm or cream to the still slightly damp skin. This makes the products easier to spread and helps the added moisture remain in the skin for longer.
• For particularly lightweight care, Floral Essence and Everything Oil or Master Elixir can be mixed directly in the palm of your hand and applied like a light emulsion.
• The essence can be used in the morning and evening, as well as during the day as needed, for example in dry heated air, high temperatures or whenever the skin feels tight and lacking in moisture.

Active ingredients

• Rose distillate (Rosa Damascena (Rosa) Flower Water), also known as rose water or rose hydrosol, is obtained from rose blossoms. Rose distillate has soothing, astringent and cleansing properties. It stimulates blood circulation in the fine capillaries and helps minimize the appearance of scars, micro-wounds, sunburn and wrinkles. It has a natural, delicate rose fragrance.
• Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) – support the synthesis of lipids and ceramides, which are essential for the skin’s barrier function. They improve the skin’s texture and even out an uneven skin tone. The vitamins also help with hyperpigmentation and skin redness. Niacinamide can regulate sebum production and reduce overproduction. As a result, pores appear smaller and less “stretched”. Thanks to its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, niacinamide can also have a positive effect on inflammation and moderate acne.
• Aloe vera extract / juice (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract / Juice) provides natural moisture, prevents the skin from drying out and strengthens the skin’s natural barrier. Aloe vera contains vitamins, minerals, enzymes and essential amino acids. It supplies the skin with oxygen and is considered effective in supporting cell renewal. It locks in moisture and has a cooling, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effect.
• Jojoba oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) – Its high fatty acid content makes the skin soft, supple, and resilient. The oil has antibacterial properties, absorbs quickly, and contains vitamins B and E, minerals, and beta-carotene (provitamin A). It supports cell development and renewal, counteracts skin aging, and strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier. It is also highly suitable for hair and scalp care. Incidentally, jojoba oil is technically not an oil, but a plant wax.
• Lactobacillus – probiotic lactic acid bacteria support the skin’s natural defense mechanisms. They support the microflora and thereby combat acne-causing bacteria, inflammation, and impurities. Reduces moisture loss and soothes itching, dry skin, and burning sensations.
• Moth bean extract (Vigna Aconitifolia Seed Extract) is also known as natural vitamin A (retinol). It stimulates cell turnover and improves collagen synthesis. Efficacy tests have shown that natural vitamin A can counteract the effects of aging. The vitamin’s plumping effect improves the skin’s texture, making it look fuller, smoother, and more even.
• Silver ear mushroom (Tremella Fuciformis (Snow Mushroom) Extract) acts like a plant-based form of hyaluronic acid and is therefore also known as botanical hyaluronic acid. The silver ear mushroom extract is very similar to hyaluronic acid in its chemical structure and has equally powerful moisturizing and moisture-binding properties.
• Lemon balm has excellent toning and astringent properties and helps balance and regulate combination skin.

Is Floral Essence suitable for use during pregnancy?
The formula contains no retinol or other retinoids. Mucuna pruriens seed extract is a plant extract, not a vitamin A active. Nevertheless, if you have individual concerns or known intolerances, we recommend consulting your treating physician.

Can Floral Essence be reapplied during the day?
Yes. Floral Essence can be reapplied in a thin layer when the air is dry from heating, in hot weather, or whenever the skin feels tight. Over makeup, it should only be gently patted in with your fingertips.
