Active Ingredients
- Cocoa Butter (Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter) spreads easily and leaves a velvety, soft skin feel. Saturated fatty acids like palmitic acid and stearic acid have emollient properties and strengthen the skin barrier. Vitamin E, alpha-tocopherol, trace elements, and minerals help the skin regenerate and compensate for cell damage. A powerful moisturizer especially for dry and mature skin.
- Coconut Oil (Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil) protects the skin from damage caused by free radicals and premature aging. Its high lauric acid content gives the oil antifungal and antibacterial properties. Coconut oil is comedogenic but still helps with blemishes and is suitable for acne-prone and sensitive skin. It moisturizes and makes the skin supple.
- Beeswax (Cera Flava, Cera Alba) forms a protective film on the skin that locks in moisture without clogging pores. Beeswax also has mild antiseptic properties and can reduce inflammation. It soothes irritated skin and may even help with eczema. The vitamin A contained in the wax promotes cell renewal and thus counteracts premature skin aging.
- The candelilla shrub native to Mexico has adapted to the scorching heat of its environment. Its branches and leaves are coated with a wax that protects against moisture loss and environmental stress: Candelilla Wax (Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax). This wax is used as a texture and shaping component in cosmetic products. Combined with other oils, it leaves a pleasant, non-sticky skin feel after application. It also adds shine and smoothness to hair. Candelilla wax is also used in the food industry and is safe to consume. Along with carnauba wax and berry wax, it is considered a plant-based alternative to beeswax.
- Castor Oil (Ricinus communis seed oil) mainly consists of ricinoleic acid, which has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. The oil fights blemishes, moisturizes, improves scar texture, and smooths the skin. Its high vitamin E content also helps combat free radicals and premature skin aging.
