With CALM Tea, Anima Mundi has created an herbal blend of Tulsi, Chamomile, Milky Oats, Rose, Marshmallow, Eleuthero, and Ashwagandha. The plants come from different herbal traditions and combine floral, mild, and earthy aromas into a smooth, balanced tea.

CALM was originally created in 2020 as a so-called “Communi-Tea” for community aid projects and became a permanent part of Anima Mundi Apothecary due to its great popularity. The taste is soft and herbal, with chamomile and rose taking center stage – wonderful in the afternoon, after a long day, or as a peaceful end to the evening.

The modern Herbal Apothecary Anima Mundi combines traditional plant knowledge from different cultures with carefully selected organic and wildcrafted botanicals. Founder Adriana Ayales sees her formulas as a bridge between inherited plant knowledge and modern everyday life.

Plants & Botanicals

Tulsi & Ashwagandha
Two of the best-known plants in Ayurveda. Tulsi is traditionally associated there with balance and inner composure; Ashwagandha is one of the classic adaptogenic rasayanas and has been used for centuries in various herbal preparations
Chamomile & Milky Oats
Chamomile is one of the classic plants for calm and relaxation. Milky Oats – oats at an early stage of maturity – are traditionally used in Western herbalism as a gentle, nourishing tonic during demanding and exhausting periods.
Eleuthero
Also known as Siberian ginseng, although botanically it is not a true ginseng. Eleuthero has a long tradition in Asian plant systems and complements the blend with its distinctive root profile.
Rose & Marshmallow
Rose blossoms bring a soft, floral quality to the blend and are associated with emotional well-being in many plant traditions. Marshmallow rounds out the formula with its mild character.

Directions

1 tablespoon of CALM Tea per cup, pour over with hot water.
Steep for 5–10 minutes, then strain.
Drink plain or refine to taste with a little plant milk or sweetener.
Store protected from heat and light.

Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding due to the Ashwagandha content. If you have thyroid disease, existing medical conditions, or take medication, consult a doctor before use. The NCCIH specifically advises against using Ashwagandha during pregnancy and breastfeeding and points to possible interactions.

What moments is CALM Tea intended for?
The formula is designed for days when calm, balance, and consciously slowing down are called for. It therefore combines classic herbs traditionally used for relaxation, such as chamomile, with plants traditionally classified as adaptogenic, such as Tulsi, Ashwagandha, and Eleuthero.

Why does CALM combine such different plants?
The blend combines floral herbs such as chamomile and rose with milder plants such as Milky Oats and marshmallow, as well as the spicy, earthy roots of Ashwagandha and Eleuthero. The result is a well-rounded, layered herbal tea.

Is CALM more suitable for daytime or evening?
Both. The blend contains no traditional tea leaves, making it well suited to a quiet afternoon break as well as to the evening.

What does CALM Tea taste like?
Soft, herbal, and floral. Chamomile and rose shape the aroma, while roots such as Ashwagandha, Eleuthero, and marshmallow give the blend greater depth.

We carefully process and package your order in our warehouse in Reutlingen. Processing usually takes within 48 hours. As soon as your order has been handed over to the shipping service provider, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking. After handover to DHL, the shipping time within Germany is usually 1–3 business days.

The shipping costs 4.95€; for orders over 60€, we offer free shipping within Germany.

International orders are shipped depending on the destination country and package size with DHL International or Deutsche Post Warenpost International Premium. The available shipping methods and costs are shown at checkout. Shipping time depends on the destination country, chosen shipping method, and customs clearance.

Returns: You can return unopened, unused, and undamaged products within 14 days of delivery. For returns within Germany, we provide a return label for 5.95€ upon request. Returns from abroad must be organized and paid for by the customer.

We package carefully, lovingly, and environmentally friendly. The box, filling material, and greeting card are made from recycled paper, and even the packing tape can be disposed of in the paper recycling bin.
