The I Quit Coffee Collection contains three blends with about 120 g of powder each. The base consists of roasted chicory root, barley, and rye, complemented by natural spices, flowers, and mushroom extracts. Depending on the variety, delicate notes of herbs, roses, or warming chai spices unfold.

To prepare, simply pour 1–2 teaspoons of powder with hot water or plant-based milk, stir, and enjoy. Ideal in the morning, but also in the afternoon or evening, as the drink is completely caffeine-free.

Usage

• Dissolve one teaspoon of coffee in a cup of water or milk.
• 120 g makes about 20 cups of coffee.
• Recommendation: 3 parts water and 1 part milk (cow's milk, oat milk, etc.)
• Feel free to experiment with different ratios to find the ideal balance between creaminess and intensity.
• Stir well until the powder has dissolved. A milk frother works especially well for this.
• Enjoy cold or hot. 
  
• Add sugar or sweetener as desired.

Can I drink the coffee if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

Although our mushroom coffee is natural and caffeine-free, there aren’t many studies on pregnancy and functional mushrooms, so we would advise against consumption. However, we’ll be here for you on the other side of pregnancy/nursing to help you through the long nights! 🥱

How many cups can I drink per day?

We recommend starting with one cup per day to give your body time to adjust to the fiber content (if it’s not used to a lot of fiber). Then gradually increase the amount as desired. The mushroom dose in each serving has been specifically designed for the effectiveness of one cup but can be increased to several cups per day. Listen to your body and adjust the dose as needed.

Is this a small or large dose of mushrooms?

Our formulas have been carefully developed to be truly effective, with precise dosages. With 360 mg of active mushrooms, this is the perfect dosage for a gentle introduction to functional mushrooms, while also experiencing their beneficial effects and supporting good preventive health. If you want a stronger therapeutic or medicinal effect, you can increase consumption to several cups per day.

Does it taste like mushrooms? Or coffee? Or neither?

No, it definitely doesn’t taste like mushrooms!

We have worked long and hard to develop the unique flavor of our Herbal Koffee. It combines the earthy, roasted notes of chicory, barley, and rye with a subtle hint of spices and flowers.

Although it doesn’t taste exactly like regular coffee, it creates a delicious balance between the familiar coffee ritual and something new and distinctive that you will surely love.

Many of our testers found it to be a satisfying and enjoyable alternative to both coffee and pure mushroom powders.

Can I drink it in the afternoon or evening?

Our Koffee is free of stimulants and caffeine. So you can consume it at any time of day. However, some people are more sensitive to the stimulating properties of mushrooms, so we recommend trying Koffee for the first time early in the morning. An exception is our Floral Koffee, which contains Reishi: a great mushroom before bedtime.

Are these mushrooms high quality?

We select our organic adaptogens with the utmost care and include only the best on the market. We choose the source based on where we can find the best and most bioactive mushroom extracts for each mushroom type. For example, our Lion's Mane comes from the forests of Scandinavia.

The growing conditions, extraction techniques, air and water quality, as well as the polysaccharide content (an important bioactive element for immunity and health) are carefully examined for each variety to identify the best source.

To ensure their quality and effectiveness, our products undergo rigorous lab testing.

We use only extracts from the pure mushroom cell wall (not just mushroom powder) to ensure optimal bioavailability, and include only the fruiting bodies (the beneficial part), without the mycelium (the less desirable root found in cheaper powders).

Can I take different mushrooms on the same day?

Yes, the mushrooms have different properties and benefits. By including a variety of functional mushrooms in your daily routine, you can achieve a well-rounded range of potential health benefits.

Will this help my digestion?

Our Herbal Koffee contains chicory root powder, which is basically a digestive superhero. Chicory root contains a prebiotic fiber called inulin that positively affects the gut microbiome, digestive health, and regularity.
