If you have recently received a fresh batch of our body butter, you will notice the rich cocoa aroma when opening the jar. This is because we introduced a higher cocoa butter content of 30% in our latest formula. We made this change to eliminate wax, as cocoa butter offers more benefits for the skin compared to wax.
Cocoa butter is a fatty acid pressed cold from cocoa beans, which is why our latest body butter smells like chocolate.
It is intensely nourishing and full of skin-friendly nutrients. It contains phytosterols with anti-inflammatory effects, vitamin E with restorative effects, polyphenols as strong antioxidants, squalane that moisturizes and softens the skin, and caffeine, which has a firming effect.

Usage

• After showering, bathing, or as needed, gently massage into the skin, especially on dry areas, let absorb, and enjoy!

Active Ingredients

• Cocoa Butter (Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter) spreads easily and leaves a velvety, soft skin feel. Saturated fatty acids like palmitic and stearic acid have a replenishing effect and strengthen the skin barrier. Vitamin E, alpha-tocopherol, trace elements, and minerals help the skin regenerate and compensate for cell damage. A strong moisturizer especially for dry and mature skin.
• Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter) is derived from the fruit of the karité tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a care and healing remedy. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, and beta-carotene, the butter protects against environmental stress, binds moisture, fights free radicals, promotes cell regeneration, and makes skin and hair soft and supple.
• Rosehip Seed Oil or Wild Rose Oil (Rosa Canina Fruit Oil) is extracted from the fruit of the wild rose and is considered a very effective plant oil for skin care. The oil is rich in provitamin A, vitamins C and E, minerals, carotenoids, and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Wild rose oil fights free radicals, promotes skin cell renewal, and balances skin tone. The oil supports collagen production, is well tolerated, and is very suitable for dry, flaky skin, pigmentation spots, and scars. Impure skin also benefits from the high content of anti-inflammatory linoleic and linolenic acids.
• Resveratrol is a natural antioxidant and belongs to the polyphenols. These are the natural defense mechanisms of plants. It protects the skin against harmful environmental influences such as UV rays or pollutants in the air and serves as a natural anti-aging agent in creams or serums. Resveratrol stimulates collagen synthesis and supports a healthy, even complexion. It is often used as an alternative to retinol. It is derived from plants such as grapes, raspberries, peanuts, or Japanese knotweed.
• Honeysuckle Flower Extract (Lonicera japonica flower extract) is traditionally used in Japan and East Asia to care for inflamed or stressed skin. Honeysuckle has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties and is also considered a powerful antioxidant. It has toning, healing effects and protects against damage from free radicals.
• Goji Berry Oil / Fruit Extract (Lycium Barbarum (Goji Berry) Extract) contains antioxidants such as phenolic acids and flavonoids, amino acids, carotenoids, and vitamins B, C, and E. Goji berry oil helps firm the skin, reduce inflammation, and stimulate circulation. Protects against environmental damage. An effective ingredient for anti-aging care.
• Aloe Vera Extract / Juice (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract / Juice) provides natural moisture, prevents skin dryness, and strengthens the natural skin barrier. Aloe Vera contains vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and essential amino acids. It supplies oxygen to the skin and is considered effective in supporting cell renewal. It binds moisture, has a cooling, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial effect.
• The Maqui Berry (Aristotelia chilensis) is an intensely purple berry that grows wild in parts of southern Chile. Maqui berries are very rich in anthocyanins, which are purple pigments with very high antioxidant activity. Maqui berries are said to have strong anti-inflammatory properties, act protectively and regeneratively, and combat skin damage caused by environmental stress.
• Avocado (persea gratissima oil / fruit extract) is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, proteins, copper, folic acid, and magnesium – all building blocks for healthy skin and hair. Due to the high content of phytosterols, it spreads easily and absorbs quickly. It supports the skin’s moisture balance, protects against dryness, and helps prevent wrinkles. In hair care, it adds shine, moisturizes dry, brittle, and damaged hair, strengthens it, and repairs damage.
• Essential Rosemary Oil (Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil) stimulates circulation and invigorates. The vitalizing oil has antimicrobial, antifungal, and antibacterial properties. Inflammatory and impure skin can be balanced again with rosemary.
• Elderberry (Sambucus Nigra Extract) has a high content of secondary plant substances, antioxidants, alpha-linolenic acid, and phytosterols. It has a calming, cleansing, and anti-inflammatory effect.
• Green Tea Extract (Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract) is distilled from the leaves of the tea plant. Green tea has strong antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps fight acne and breakouts, cleanses, and promotes a clear complexion. It is used to combat premature skin and hair aging, reduces pore size, and makes skin look fresher. Green tea also has a soothing effect, can reduce redness and irritation, and relieve itching.
