Active Ingredients

• Camu Camu (Myrciaria dubia (Camu Camu) Powder) is packed with phytonutrient antioxidants known as flavonols, which have strong anti-inflammatory effects and neutralize free radicals. Rich in vitamin C, which strengthens collagen and elastin and counteracts skin impurities. May lighten hyperpigmentation.
• Turmeric, the golden root, has been used for thousands of years in traditional herbal medicine. It gives Curam its characteristic color and forms the heart of the formula. Black pepper complements the blend and improves the bioavailability of certain plant compounds.
• Amla / Amalaki (Phyllanthus Emblica (Indian Gooseberry) Extract), also called Indian gooseberry, is described in the Charaka Samhita as the best rejuvenating agent of all. The fruit contains oleic acid, vitamin E, and has a very high vitamin C content (many times that of lemon), giving it strong antioxidant properties. Amla is said to have excellent cell-protective properties. The fruit is believed to stimulate hair growth, prevent hair loss, and help against premature graying. Split ends, hair breakage, and lack of strength are also positively influenced by the fruit. Amla also benefits the skin by stimulating collagen production and having a firming effect.
• The Mangosteen fruit has been used since ancient times in the rainforest as a staple food of indigenous peoples due to its high nutritional value. Xanthones – scientific studies show that Mangosteen contains a class of naturally occurring polyphenol compounds known as xanthones. These xanthones are found in the rind of the mangosteen fruit. The rind provides a polyhydroxy xanthone derivative called mangostin or beta-mangostin. Fully ripe fruits contain the xanthones gartanin, beta-disoxygartanin, and normangostin. Research published in journals such as Free Radical Research and Journal of Pharmacology indicates that these xanthones can have remarkable positive effects on cardiovascular health. They also have properties that help support the body's ability to protect itself from cell damage caused by free radicals and promote healthy aging.
