The Intense Nourishment Hair Mask from Antipodes is a rich treatment for hair that needs more smoothness, shine, and substance. The formula makes hair noticeably softer, smooths the surface, and improves combability without weighing down the lengths unnecessarily. Also very suitable for curls.

Antipodes combines New Zealand botanicals with bioactive ingredients and scientifically supported formulations. Usage

• Apply 1 to 2 times per week to clean, towel-dried hair, distribute from mid-lengths to ends, leave on for 3 to 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
• The mask can be used more frequently if needed.

Active Ingredients

• Xylishine™ is derived from the Atlantic alga Pelvetia canaliculata and a patented sugar complex. This ingredient repairs the hair surface, improves the fiber’s moisture balance, resulting in more reflection, less frizz, and a fuller, shinier hair appearance. The Atlantic alga Pelvetia canaliculata provides the mineral- and protein-rich marine extract, while the sugar complex enhances the hydrating and smoothing effect.
  
• Hydresia™ from safflower oleosomes (extracted from the seeds of the safflower) is the bioactive core of the line. The oleosomes deliver moisture gradually, smooth the hair fiber, hydrate scalp and lengths, and directly target frizzy, moisture-deficient hair.
• Coconut protects the skin from damage caused by free radicals and premature aging. Its high lauric acid content gives the oil antifungal and antibacterial properties. Coconut oil is comedogenic but still helps with blemishes and is suitable for acne-prone and sensitive skin. It moisturizes and softens the skin.
• Black Maca / PROTECSYL® forms the bioactive core of the Repair & Nourish line. The rare Maca plant originates from the foothills of the Andes and is used in Antipodes haircare to make hair appear stronger and healthier. This ingredient supports the keratin structure, protects hair proteins, and is especially aimed at brittle, split-prone, and color-treated lengths.
  
• Argan oil (Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil) is extracted from the kernels of the argan fruit. The unique argan trees grow only in southwestern Morocco. The antioxidant- and vitamin-rich oil is used in skin and hair care. Its high fatty acid content (linoleic acid) promotes the build-up and maintenance of the skin barrier. Its anti-inflammatory properties help with problematic skin, and the high vitamin E content protects against free radicals and promotes cell turnover. It provides moisture to hair, protects against environmental stressors, promotes a healthy appearance, and soothes itchy scalp and psoriasis. The non-comedogenic oil also acts as a light, natural heat and UV protectant.
• Mānuka honey – due to its uniquely high methylglyoxal (MGO) content, Mānuka honey is especially anti-inflammatory and antibacterial. Raw honey is antiseptic and antimicrobial, helping to cleanse the skin and thoroughly eliminate bacteria. Honey contains gluconic acid, a mild alpha hydroxy acid that brightens and fades age spots. Raw honey is enriched with a variety of nutrients such as vitamin B, manganese, iron, potassium, and calcium. When mixed with water, honey releases a peroxide property that helps heal acne and inhibit bacterial growth. Additionally, honey is a humectant that supplies moisture to the skin and provides it with a wealth of nutrient-rich enzymes.
• Behentrimonium Methosulfate is a plant-derived conditioning agent (mostly based on rapeseed oil) that smooths, detangles, and reduces static in hair. This makes dry and damaged hair softer, more manageable, and easier to comb.
• Kakadu plum (Terminalia ferdinandiana fruit extract) is also called bush plum and is the richest natural source of vitamin C, with 2,300 to 3,150 milligrams per 100g of fruit flesh. It also contains vitamin E and ferulic acid, making it very rich in antioxidants. This ingredient is also involved in the production of the amino acid proline, which in turn produces skin-firming collagen. Thanks to its antimicrobial properties, it even inhibits and soothes inflammation and redness.
• The vitamin-rich lime caviar contains natural AHAs, antioxidants, vitamins C and E. They make the hair fiber feel softer and improve texture, which is especially noticeable on rough, dry, or dull lengths.
