The fine soap smells of fresh herbs with a tart note. It revitalizes and refreshes your skin with 100% natural ingredients such as Korean mugwort and essential Hinoki oil.

The vegan mugwort soap, handcrafted using the cold saponification process, leaves skin soft and clean. No itching and no dry feeling after showering. The fine grain provides a gentle peeling effect.

Active Ingredients

• Olive oil was already used in ancient Greece to care for dry skin. It is considered to promote circulation and stimulate. Olive oil has a high oleic acid content, which provides a protective and moisturizing function. The oil leaves a light film and is absorbed gradually by the skin. Therefore, it is excellent for dry and brittle skin. Olive oil is one of our base oils for soap production.
• Shea butter is obtained from the nut of the karité tree. The rich butter cares for the skin through its re-fatting, soothing, and smoothing properties. Therefore, the butter is recommended for dry and stressed skin. Shea butter is a consistency agent for the mild Binu soaps.
• Coconut oil – also called coconut fat due to its solid consistency below 23 °C – is extracted from the flesh of the coconut. Coconut oil is very rich in lauric acid and saturated fatty acids. Lauric acid has a strong antimicrobial effect. The oil absorbs quickly and superficially while providing good re-fatting. Coconut oil is one of our base oils for all Binu soaps.
• For the production of our natural soaps, we use especially pure Hinoki water, the aqueous solution of the steam distillate from Hinoki wood. The Japanese cypress species is rich in phytoncides. Plants produce these substances to keep pathogens and pests away. These antimicrobial agents can also be very beneficial for the skin’s protective system.
• Bamboo wood vinegar is obtained by smoke distillation during the production of bamboo activated charcoal. It is said to have a positive effect on skin impurities because vinegar acts as a disinfectant. Bamboo wood vinegar is included in our Bamboo Charcoal Soap.
