The high color intensity is visible from the first application. The powerful pigments in a base of organic castor oil, mango butter, and apricot kernel oil provide full coverage and expressive lips. Carnauba and candelilla wax, as well as nourishing shea butter, cocoa butter, and rice bran, leave lips hydrated, pleasantly soft, and smooth.

What dyes are used in the lipsticks? Why aren’t only natural dyes used?

We use a combination of natural pigments and food-grade dyes. Food coloring is a synthetic form of color. For certain lipstick shades, food dyes were preferred over carmine (ground beetle shells) to achieve a stronger color.

How long does it last?

This is our longest-lasting formula and contains four times more pigments than any other lipstick ILIA has ever made.

What does the finish look like?

Creamy and rich. Dab it with a tissue and our Soft Focus Finishing Powder for a matte look.

Do I need a lip liner?

This rich formula doesn’t feather, so only if you want to.

I have very dry lips. Can I still wear this formula?

Yes, the Color Block Lipstick is rich in nourishing oils like organic castor oil and apricot kernel oil that nourish and soften lips. For extra moisture, you can prepare your lips with a lip conditioner, which can also smooth the formula a bit.

Can the Color Block Lipstick be used together with the Tinted Lip Conditioner?

Yes. Many customers apply the Tinted Lip Conditioner between lipstick applications to increase moisture and refresh the color.

How to use

• The Color Block Lipstick can be used in three ways:
• If you want full coverage and high impact, apply it directly to your bare lips.
• For a diffused, dabbed look, apply it with your finger and roll it over your lips.
• Want more moisture? Prepare your lips with a lip conditioner to hydrate and add a touch of shine.
