How to Use

Active Ingredients

• Bisabolol / Alpha-Bisabolol can be derived from the essential oils of chamomile or yarrow and from the wood of the candeia tree. Bisabolol is very well tolerated and ideal for irritated or sensitive skin. Dry or blemished skin also benefits from its soothing and healing properties. Alpha-Bisabolol has antibacterial effects and may help with pigmentation spots. Bisabolol acts on melanocyte receptors to reduce irritation reactions, which can lead to decreased melanin synthesis. This process can reduce skin pigmentation and create a brightening effect.
• Prickly Pear Oil (Opuntia Ficus-Indica Seed Oil) has a very high content of vitamin E, amino acids, antioxidants, and omega fatty acids. It combats dryness and helps the skin lock in its natural oils. It strengthens the skin’s natural UV protection, absorbs quickly, and leaves the skin soft and supple.
• Salicornia Extract is obtained from salicornia, also known as the glasswort plant. This plant, also called sea asparagus or glasswort, grows in the sea and tolerates high salt content without drying out. Salicornia contains high levels of vitamins (A, C, and D) and minerals (zinc, silicon, manganese) and is highly valued in skincare products for its hydrating properties. The plant promotes optimal skin moisture by stimulating urea production and limiting water evaporation. It also supports skin regeneration and firmness.
• Squalane or squalane oil (Squalane) is a lightweight, non-comedogenic, and non-greasy oil that leaves skin silky smooth. Squalane is a natural component of our skin barrier and is therefore very well absorbed by the skin. It protects the skin from moisture loss and prevents oxidation of the skin’s natural fats. This regenerating oil helps prevent age spots, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, makes skin supple, and promotes oxygen supply and cell regeneration. It is mostly derived from olive oil, less commonly from rice bran or wheat germ oil. For cosmetics, squalene is converted into squalane. Squalane contains no unsaturated bonds, making it oxidation-resistant and longer-lasting. Interestingly, squalane was originally obtained from shark liver, hence the name. Squalus is the Latin name for shark.
• Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter) is extracted from the fruit of the karité tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a care and healing agent. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, and beta-carotene, the butter protects against environmental stress, binds moisture, fights free radicals, promotes cell regeneration, and leaves skin and hair soft and smooth.
• Castor Oil (Ricinus communis seed oil) consists largely of ricinoleic acid, which has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. The oil combats blemishes, moisturizes, improves scar texture, and smooths the skin. Its high vitamin E content also helps fight free radicals and premature skin aging.
• Hyaluronic Acid (Hyaluronic Acid / Sodium Hyaluronate) can hold up to 1000 times its weight in water. Hyaluronic acid is a main component of connective tissue, filling and supporting it. Due to its ability to bind large amounts of water, it is responsible for the skin’s moisture content. Hyaluronic acid also promotes skin firmness and elasticity. As we age, we lose our natural hyaluronic acid, which is a major cause of wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid helps fill in fine lines and plump the skin.
