Gamma-linolenic acid is a fatty acid from the omega-6 family and has intense regenerating, moisturizing, and anti-inflammatory effects. The oil improves the suppleness and elasticity of the skin and promotes a healthy complexion.
- This fatty acid is the precursor of phospholipids, which make up cell membranes. It has exceptional regenerative power and remarkable anti-aging properties. Dry, dull, and tired skin is revitalized.
- A high vitamin C content (the fresh borage plant contains 150 milligrams of vitamin C per 100 grams – a lemon about 55 milligrams!) together with vitamin E makes it a powerful antioxidant.
- Borage oil soothes sensitive skin, relieves itching, has anti-inflammatory and wound-healing effects. It is often used for conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and neurodermatitis.
Borage oil is made from the seeds of Borago officinalis (borage plant). The plant is also known as cucumber herb, heart’s delight, or good cheer flower.

Today, borage is mainly grown industrially in China (even though it often carries an organic label there!). Unlike these borage oils on the market, our borage oil comes from France and has a pleasant scent because it is fresh and not oxidized."
Our borage oil is the result of the passionate work of Daniel, a French farmer in Berry. He cultivates his plants using sustainable agriculture. Borage seeds are cold-pressed, then filtered through paper and immediately bottled.

Application
- On the face: Apply two to three drops morning and evening to cleansed, still damp skin of the face and neck and gently massage in.
- For facial cleansing, we recommend a mild foam cleanser, a cleansing gel, micellar water, natural facial soaps, or a cleansing oil.
