Enchanted Island Shampoo

The Rahua Enchanted Island Shampoo is a nourishing, tropical-scented shampoo for all hair types. Its vitamin- and antioxidant-rich formula gives medium-thick to thick hair greater vitality, natural shine, and a stronger-feeling appearance.

Biotin and vitamin-rich plant ingredients from the Amazon nourish the scalp and hair roots and support a more resilient-looking appearance. Rahua, Morete, and Sacha Inchi oils combine with guayusa, pomegranate, guava, aloe vera, quinoa, and selected B vitamins to create a nourishing formula for smooth, vibrant-looking lengths.

The Enchanted Island formula combines plant oils from the Amazon with moisturizing and antioxidant plant extracts. Rahua oil is rich in omega-9 fatty acids and leaves the hair lengths feeling smooth and conditioned, while Morete and Sacha Inchi oils supplement the formula with valuable lipids. Coconut oil contributes to a soft, well-conditioned hair feel.

Guayusa, pomegranate, and guava leaf extract provide antioxidant plant compounds and support a healthy-looking hair structure. Aloe vera and plant-based glycerin help retain moisture in the hair. Biotin and vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, and B12 complement the formula, while hydrolyzed quinoa leaves the hair lengths looking smooth, conditioned, and easier to comb.

Active Ingredients

• Buriti oil (also known as Morete) is obtained from the fruits of the buriti palm (Mauritia vinifera / Mauritia flexuosa), which is primarily found in Brazil. Buriti oil is characterized by a high concentration of oleic acid, tocopherols (vitamin precursors), provitamin A, and carotenoids, particularly a very high proportion of beta-carotene (five times that of a carrot). The nourishing oil has strong antioxidant properties, supports cell regeneration, and provides light natural protection against UV rays. This potent anti-aging oil cares for the skin and hair and may help normalize sebum production.
• Plant-based biotin + vitamins B6, A, C, and E: A highly effective complex of organic fruits, vegetables, and plant-based probiotics that strengthens the hair follicles and helps prevent premature hair loss
• Rahua (Ungurahua): Women in the Amazon region have used the oil from this tree nut for centuries to care for and strengthen their hair. It strengthens weak and damaged hair, nourishes and maintains the health of the hair follicles and scalp, and its ultra-fine molecules penetrate deep into the hair shaft’s color pigments, significantly extending color retention. The skin benefits from its generous supply of omega-9 fatty acids, which firm and soothe the skin and restore the scalp’s natural moisture balance. Rahua uses Symbiotic® Ungurahua.
• Guayusa (Ilex Guayusa) is rich in antioxidants that minimize damage caused by free radicals. It also contains plenty of vitamin B, which supports healthy hair.
• Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) – supports the synthesis of lipids and ceramides, which are essential for the skin’s barrier function. Improves skin texture and evens out an uneven skin tone. It helps with hyperpigmentation and skin redness. Niacinamide may also reduce excessive sebum production. By balancing sebum production, pores appear smaller and less “stretched.” Thanks to its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, niacinamide may also have a positive effect on inflammation and moderate acne.
• Pomegranate contains rare omega-5 fatty acids (punicic acid). These fatty acids have strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. The oil helps combat free radicals and premature skin aging, may reduce age spots, and promotes collagen synthesis, thereby supporting skin regeneration and repair. The fruit also contains plant compounds such as flavonoids, polyphenols, and phytosterols, all of which have strong regenerative effects.
• Coconut betaine: Gently and effectively removes dirt and excess oil from the hair without disturbing the hair’s balance or moisture levels. 
• Aloe vera extract / juice (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract / Juice) provides natural moisture, helps prevent the skin from drying out, and strengthens the skin’s natural barrier. Aloe vera contains vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and essential amino acids. It supplies skin and hair with oxygen and is considered effective in supporting cell renewal. It binds moisture, has a cooling effect, and is anti-inflammatory and antibacterial.
• Hydrolyzed quinoa (Hydrolyzed Quinoa) – Known to the ancient Incas as the “mother of all grains,” this gluten-free superfood revitalizes the skin and hair. Rich in vitamins and amino acids, it inhibits collagen breakdown, supports connective tissue, promotes healing and moisture retention, and reduces signs of fatigue.
• Sacha Inchi is a rare type of nut primarily cultivated in South America. The fruit is exceptionally rich in omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants, including vitamins A and E. Sacha Inchi helps retain moisture in the skin and hair and soothes inflamed and itchy scalps. Its cell-activating effect provides a natural anti-aging benefit; Sacha Inchi improves skin firmness, reduces fine lines, and may reduce pigmentation spots. Rahua uses Symbiotic® Sacha Inchi.
