Application

• To remove light makeup, start with a small amount of the Lotus Cleansing Balm on dry hands and dry face.
• Gently massage it onto the face and eyes to dissolve the makeup.
• Add water to emulsify and rinse off.
• Pat dry gently with a muslin cloth to remove makeup residue.
• Follow with the Cream Cleanser as a second cleanse.
  
  
• To remove long-lasting makeup, apply a quarter-sized amount of the Lotus Cleansing Balm to dry hands and dry face.
• Gently massage it in to dissolve the makeup.
• Before adding water, remove stubborn eye makeup with a cotton pad.

• Then perform a double cleanse with Ranavat Cream Cleanser to make the skin soft and supple.

Active ingredients

• Sesame oil (Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil) mainly consists of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids such as linoleic acid and oleic acid. The oil, containing lecithin and vitamins E and A, removes harmful deposits from the skin and thus signs of premature skin aging. Sesame oil also soothes irritation, reduces redness, and strengthens the skin’s protective barrier.
  
• Shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter)is obtained from the fruit of the shea tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a care and healing remedy. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, and beta carotene, the butter protects against environmental stressors, locks in moisture, fights free radicals, promotes cell regeneration, and makes skin and hair soft and supple.
• Blue Tansy (Tanacetum Annuum (Blue Tansy) Flower Oil) – Also known as Moroccan chamomile. The word “Tansy” comes from the Greek word “Athanaton” meaning “immortal” – Blue Tansy promotes cell regeneration. The healing properties of Blue Tansy are based on the azulene pigment, which gives it a striking blue color, soothes the skin, and reduces redness and inflammation. Blue Tansy smooths damaged capillaries and improves tissue firmness and elasticity.
• Castor oil (Ricinus communis seed oil) consists largely of ricinoleic acid, which has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. The oil fights impurities, moisturizes, improves the texture of scars, and smooths the skin. Its high vitamin E content also helps combat free radicals and premature skin aging.
• Lotus Flower/Seed Extract (Lotus Flower (Nelumbo Nucifera)) is rich in vitamins and contains proteins, tannins, and flavonoids. The plant helps fight oxidative stress and improves skin hydration. Lotus has balancing and calming effects, normalizes sebum production, strengthens the skin’s protective barrier, and thus protects against harmful environmental stressors. This beautiful aquatic plant was used in ancient India for beauty baths of queens and has a long tradition as an active ingredient in medicine and cosmetics in Asia.
• Mango Seed Butter (Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter) – Native mango butter is the fruit kernel fat of the tropical fruit. Mango butter moisturizes and has soothing and regenerating effects on skin and scalp. The nutrient-rich butter contains various fatty acids, vitamins A, C, D, and E, as well as several minerals.
• Jasmine (Jasminum Officinale Oil / Extract) – the sensually soft and exotically floral scent of jasmine is calming, improves mood, relieves anxiety, and is said to be energizing and aphrodisiac. Why is cleansing the skin so important?

Without cleansing and detoxifying, your skin would be covered with a thick layer of dirt and oil, making it difficult for skincare ingredients to properly penetrate. When should I cleanse my skin?

Our RANAVAT esthetician recommends cleansing the skin twice a day:

In the morning, to remove excess sebum and dead skin cells that have accumulated overnight and to support the skin's balance.

In the evening, to cleanse the skin (makeup, sunscreen, dirt, oil, etc.) and to better prepare the skin for absorbing skincare products. 

Does it leave my skin feeling greasy? Does it leave a residue? Do I need to use another cleanser afterward?

The Lotus Cleansing Balm rinses off easily, but we always recommend double cleansing with our Cream Cleanser for the ultimate royal cleansing experience. Our balm uses high-quality oils that nourish your skin without clogging pores.

Does it sting the eyes? Can I use it around my eyes?

The formula is gentle for medium makeup, but we recommend using a separate eye makeup remover for long-lasting makeup. When cleansing the eyes, we suggest gently wiping over the eyes with a cloth or cotton pad to remove makeup softly.
