With moisturizing silver ear mushroom extract, a botanical alternative to hyaluronic acid and an extract from the Indian velvet bean, a plant-based retinol substitute, the skin is clarified, soothed, and hydrated. The velvet bean achieves the same effect as a 2.5% retinol cream without causing side effects like redness or dryness. Lemon balm extract and probiotics soothe the skin and contribute to a healthy microbiome. Dryness wrinkles are reduced, and the skin barrier is strengthened. Malachite extract has strong antioxidant effects and protects the skin from cell damage.

Application

• After cleansing, gently tap a few drops of Floral Essence onto the face, neck, and décolleté. Then massage in the Everything Oil (for normal and oily skin) or Master Elixir (for dry, dehydrated, mature skin) on damp skin.
• Apply the Floral Essence during the day whenever your skin needs moisture and refreshment, for example on hot days, in dry heated air, or after a workout.
• Pro tip: Mix the Floral Essence in your palm with some Everything Oil or Master Elixir to create a light emulsion, then apply it like a regular cream. This gives your skin an extra boost of moisture!

Active ingredients

• Rose distillate (Rosa Damascena (Rosa) Flower Water), also called rose water or rose hydrosol, is made from rose petals. Rose distillate has soothing, astringent, and cleansing properties. It stimulates blood circulation in the fine capillaries, helps minimize the appearance of scars, micro-wounds, sunburn, and wrinkles. It naturally and delicately smells of roses.
• Orange blossom water / nerolidol distillate (Citrus Aurantium Dulcis Flower Water) is obtained from the flower buds of the bitter orange tree. The hydrosol has a calming and relaxing effect, both for our skin and our soul. It can reduce redness and soothe irritated skin. Additionally, it refreshes, moisturizes, balances the skin's pH, and promotes a more even complexion.
• Niacinamides (Vitamin B3) – support the synthesis of lipids and ceramides, which are essential for the skin's barrier function. They improve skin texture and even out uneven skin tone. The vitamins also help with hyperpigmentation and skin redness. Niacinamides can regulate sebum production and reduce overproduction. This makes pores appear smaller and less "stretched." Due to its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, niacinamide can also positively affect inflammation and moderate acne.
• Aloe Vera Extract / Juice (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract / Juice) provides natural moisture, prevents skin dryness, and strengthens the natural skin barrier. Aloe Vera contains vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and essential amino acids. It supplies the skin with oxygen and is considered effective in supporting cell renewal. Binds moisture, has a cooling, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial effect.
• Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) – The high content of fatty acids makes the skin soft, supple, and resilient. The oil has antibacterial properties, absorbs quickly, and contains vitamins B, E, minerals, and beta-carotene (provitamin A). Strengthens cell development and renewal, fights skin aging, and strengthens the skin's natural protective barrier. Also very suitable for hair and scalp care. By the way, jojoba oil is technically not an oil but a plant wax.
• Lactobacillus – Probiotic lactic acid bacteria support the skin's natural defense mechanisms. They support the microflora and thus fight acne-causing bacteria, inflammation, and impurities. Reduces moisture loss and soothes itching, dry, and burning skin.
• Moth Bean Extract (Vigna Aconitifolia Seed Extract) is also referred to as natural vitamin A (retinol). It stimulates cell turnover and improves collagen synthesis. Efficacy tests have shown that natural vitamin A can combat the effects of aging. The plumping effect of the vitamin improves skin texture and makes the skin appear fuller, smoother, and more even.
• Silver Ear Mushroom (Tremella Fuciformis (Snow Mushroom) Extract) acts like a plant-based form of hyaluronic acid and is therefore also called botanical hyaluronic acid. The extract of the Silver Ear Mushroom is chemically very similar to hyaluronic acid and has equally strong moisturizing and water-binding properties.
• Melissa has good toning and astringent properties and helps to balance and regulate combination skin.

• For which skin condition is Floral Essence suitable?

Floral Essence is a moisturizing toner and active ingredient serum in one. Every skin needs sufficient moisture supply; it is the basic requirement for healthy, intact skin barrier. Therefore, Floral Essence is the centerpiece of our care system and suitable for every skin condition.

• Is Floral Essence also intended for anti-aging care?

In addition to moisturizing hydrolates and aloe vera, Floral Essence also contains our water-soluble active ingredients like the silver ear mushroom extract, the botanical alternative to synthetically produced hyaluronic acid. We also use the extract from Indian mat bean, which has been shown in numerous in-vivo studies to have a skin-rejuvenating effect similar to retinol, without causing the known side effects. Therefore, unlike retinol, Floral Essence can also be used on sensitive skin and during pregnancy.

• How can I use Floral Essence in my skincare routine?

Floral Essence is your first care step after cleansing. Then massage your oil or balm into the still damp skin to 'seal' the moisture into the skin.

• Can Floral Essence also be mixed with other products?

Of course! You can mix your Cleansing Clay Mask with Floral Essence to enrich it with additional active ingredients.

Or mix Floral Essence in the palm of your hand with Master Elixir or Everything Oil to create a light emulsion (cream).

Floral Essence is also a great cleanser for barrier-disturbed and dehydrated skin. Simply apply it to a cotton pad and swipe it over uncleaned skin.
