Washable makeup remover pads made of soft organic sweatshirt fabric. The makeup remover pads from Treu are made in Germany and are extra large with an 8 cm diameter.

The high-quality and carefully sewn makeup remover pads are perfect for removing eye makeup. After use, collect and simply wash in the washing machine in a laundry bag and reuse again and again.

Usage

• Moisten the pads with  micellar water or  makeup remover. Then cleanse the face and remove makeup including eye makeup.
• Dampened pads can also be used to remove  cleansing oil or lotion. 
• Just as you have done with regular cotton pads so far.

1. Makeup remover pad or cleansing glove? Which type is right for me?

Makeup remover pad:
If you have already found your perfect skin cleansing and care routine and only want to remove your eye makeup or apply a toner, we recommend our makeup remover pads.

Makeup remover glove:
If you want to change and/or simplify your skin cleansing and care routine, we recommend our makeup remover glove. Because with it, you can now cleanse your face and then remove your eye makeup. Two in one - faster, easier & thorough - YaY!

It works with or without cleanser (just warm water).

2. Makeup remover pads Sweat | Sweat or terry?

Sweat | Sweat

For removing eye makeup:
If you prefer it especially soft when removing eye makeup and/or have sensitive skin, then our Sweat pads are suitable. | Sweat pads work especially well.

Simply use the products you have been using for cleansing.
Dry with cream - wet with cleanser or oil - whichever works best for you.

For applying micellar and facial toner:
We recommend the colors ecru or rosewood here, as these variants are the ‘thinnest’ and therefore do not absorb unnecessary amounts of facial toner.

Sweat | Terry

For removing eye makeup:
You like to emphasize your eyes a bit more - or less. Then we recommend the Sweat. | Terry pads. With the 2 different sides, you always have the right pad on hand.
Because with heavier makeup, the small, soft loops of the terry cloth can absorb more makeup and clean more thoroughly. Then, with the soft Sweat, the remaining residues can be gently removed.

Simply use the products you have been using for cleansing.
Dry with cream - wet with cleanser or oil - whichever works best for you.

3. Can nail polish be removed with the makeup remover pads?

Unfortunately, the makeup remover pads are not suitable for removing nail polish. Even if they can be washed at 60°C, this will not dissolve the nail polish from the fabric. After about 3-5 uses, every spot on the pad is covered with nail polish and can no longer absorb any polish.
In this case, we recommend using regular cotton pads.

4. Do makeup and/or mascara residues remain after washing?

First of all: You can wash the makeup remover pads and gloves at 60°C. This kills all bacteria and germs. Whether residues remain depends on how hot the pads/gloves are washed.

5. Which product is founder Katrin’s favorite?

Clearly the wash glove :). As a child, I really disliked washing my face with a washcloth – no idea why. But that has changed now, because our makeup remover gloves only partly resemble a washcloth. Here are a few reasons why I love them sooo much:

• For the evening makeup removal routine, I now only need 2 products – our makeup remover glove & a makeup remover oil. No face brush with soap – no extra eye makeup remover – no cream afterwards, because the oil doesn’t dry out the skin but nourishes it – no tightness, no dryness – Yay! And not to forget, no towel to dry the face, meaning no more towels with unsightly mascara stains :).
• The fleece is soft on both sides and the terry cloth is double-layered, so the makeup remover glove can be used inside and out – 1, 2, or even 3 times, depending on how much makeup you wear.
• Better and easier cleaning because the fingers lie flat in the glove – with circular motions and a larger contact area, the face can be cleaned simply and more precisely. Especially when removing eye makeup, you can now use your index finger to clean the lower eyelid very precisely.
• The fabrics used are made of 100% organic cotton, in the color ecru which is the most environmentally friendly as it is neither bleached nor dyed.

• Machine wash up to 60°
• After washing, reshape the pads and let them air dry

• Collect the makeup remover pads and wash them in a laundry bag to prevent the little cuties from falling victim to the mysterious washing machine disappearance.
