MA Eau de Parfum by WA:IT is dedicated to the Japanese concept Ma (間): the space between two things, the pause between two moments, the silence between two thoughts. Not emptiness, but a consciously left-open space in which perception and presence can arise.

This feeling is translated into fragrance in MA. Bergamot, lavender and mint open the composition with a bright, aromatic and almost weightless character. Elemi adds a subtle resinous clarity before hinoki and cypress make the fragrance greener and woodier. Sambac jasmine and hibiscus give the heart a gentle floral transparency without turning MA into a classic floral fragrance.

The transition into the base is particularly beautiful. Virginia cedar and sandalwood meet benzoin, patchouli, amber, tonka bean and vanilla. White musk settles softly over them, while tobacco adds a dry, slightly darker counterpoint. The warmth remains light: soft, powdery and close to the skin rather than sweet or heavy.

MA has a quiet quality. The fragrance moves between freshness and warmth, green notes and soft woods, clarity and comfort. This delicate balance makes it a highly distinctive and elegant interpretation of an aromatic woody perfume.

What does WA MA Eau de Parfum smell like?
