Between wrapping gifts, baking cookies, and searching for the perfect Christmas tree, there is a special magic in the air – the scent of Christmas. At Blanda Beauty, Christmas preparations are in full swing, but our team took a moment to select their favorite winter perfumes – and we want to introduce these fragrant highlights to you in this article. These seven natural parfums are perfect for giving a special treat to your loved ones or yourself.

Which fragrances are well suited for the Christmas season?

In the cold season, we long for fragrances that wrap us in warmth and comfort. Intense notes like frankincense, resins, patchouli, or myrrh unfold a profound, mystical atmosphere, while warm accords like vanilla, amber, and musk caress us and pamper the senses. Spices like saffron, cinnamon, pepper, and cloves bring a festive spice that reminds us of cozy evenings and Christmas markets.

Also, gourmand notes like sweet sour cherry, aromatic rum, or creamy coconut give the fragrances a seductive, almost delicious depth that recalls festive desserts. Citrusy notes like orange or bergamot provide a sparkling lightness and festive freshness that perfectly harmonizes with the warmth of the winter accords.

Of course, choosing the perfect winter fragrance is very subjective – everyone has their own taste and preferred fragrance family. Opinions also differ at Blanda Beauty: while some love warm, spicy aromas, others prefer sweeter or floral notes. This variety makes it all the more exciting to discover personal fragrance favorites and accompany the festive season with a truly individual scent.

Crushed Velvet by A.N OTHER

Our new arrival Crushed Velvet from A.N OTHER belongs to the oriental fragrance family and, according to our staff member Katrin, who loves sweet and heavier perfumes, "reminds her of winter and Christmas."

Crushed Velvet is a perfume that gently touches with immense power. A seductive whisper. Wherever this perfume lights up, the space expands.

To combine strength and tenderness, perfumer Catherine Selig has brought opposing notes to life side by side in harmony. "I wanted to convey a feeling of security that comes from strength. To envelop the wearer in a warm, protective cocoon, like a gentle glow."

The intense power of this perfume is based on saffron blossom, cypress, and olibanum, the dried resin of Boswellia or frankincense trees. The tender embrace is created by gentle notes of warm amyris, creamy vanilla, aphrodisiac musk, and soothing sandalwood.

  • Top notes: Saffron blossom, amyris, cypress
  • Heart notes: Frankincense, vanilla orchid, incense poppy
  • Base notes: Olibanum, skin musk, sandalwood

Catherine Selig sees fragrances as a medium. “You can learn a lot about a person by knowing which scent they wear and how much they spray. Fragrances have spiritual powers, and the secret is to create those powers. I start with the name, the colors, and above all, the emotion.” Perfumery runs deep in Catherine’s blood. She is the great-granddaughter of master perfumer Meinrad Hilfiger from the 19th century. Her friends call her the “enchanting perfumer.”

Cobalt Amber by Abel

The all-time favorite scent of Blanda Beauty co-founder Julia is Cobalt Amber by Abel. She prefers heavier fragrances that are lightly spicy and not too sweet.

The Cobalt Amber perfume is a sophisticated Oriental where pink pepper and juniper berry give the classic amber note a modern twist.

Abel: "We set out to create a natural, modern amber scent that stays true to Parisian Art Deco and is a delight for hedonists. All the features of a traditional amber—vanillin, labdanum, sandalwood, patchouli—are present, with an Abel innovation: pink pepper and juniper berry brighten the top note, and cocoa and tonka beans complete this elegant oriental fragrance."

Cobalt Amber niche perfume: Mystical, long-forgotten elegance, moving at high speed, racing, finding one’s way, losing the way...

  • Top notes: Pink pepper, cardamom, juniper berry
  • Heart notes: Cocoa, tonka beans, Peruvian balsam
  • Base notes: Amber

The "Amber" accord as an olfactory concept emerged at the end of the 19th century, when the vanillin compound was first synthesized and blended with labdanum.

At Abel, we believe in the power and beauty of fragrances. In their ability to enrich daily life in a way nothing else can! We believe this enjoyment must have no negative impact on the earth, the environment, or you. Our ingredients are 100% natural.

N° 30 Thé Arabique Parfum Intense by Frau Tonis Parfum

Another favorite scent of Julia is N° 30 Thé Arabique Parfum Intense by Frau Tonis Parfum. This fragrance combines delicate notes of black tea with ripe quinces, nutty Irish whiskey, gurjun balsam, musk, and vanilla.

A magical sunset on the banks of the Nile. The perfume is intense and passionate, develops a warm heart, and plays with a hint of sugary aromas.

  • Balsamic / Passionate / Warm
  • Fragrance notes: Black tea, quince, whiskey, musk, and vanilla
  • Oriental / Parfum Intense / Unisex

The Parfum Intense fragrances are characterized by an even higher concentration, making them more intense and voluminous.

Lush green fields, sugarcane and fruit plantations. The fellahin, who today, as thousands of years ago, cultivate their land and suddenly pause with strong black tea, entranced by the eternal flow of the Nile. The memory of a magical place, a dreamlike sunset at Aswan...

Green Cedar from Abel

Lisa likes sweet and floral fragrances, and her favorite for winter is Green Cedar from Abel. With its balsamic-sweet guaiac wood and cedarwood, it reminds her of "fir trees and a winter walk."

The fresh-fruity note of magnolia in Green Cedar is perfect for lovers of floral perfumes who also want to venture into heavier, balsamic scents.

This unique combination of a double-distilled cedar from Texas and a wild-harvested cedar from the Atlas Mountains, along with the scent of magnolia, cypriol, cardamom, and smoky guaiac wood, creates a truly distinctive and intoxicating fragrance experience.

  • Top notes: Magnolia, cardamom
  • Heart notes: Cypriol, guaiac wood
  • Base notes: Cedarwood from Texas and the Atlas Mountains

Going back, again and again, to a place you shouldn't go, hiding without reason, the light of Cèdre Gouraud in the Atlas Mountains...

"It's crazy when you smell the cedarwood from the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, it's so distinctive and aromatic, it really transports you to oriental North Africa." Abel-nose, Isaac Sinclair.

Dirty Suede from Heretic Parfum

One of Vanessa's favorites for the winter season is Dirty Suede from Heretic Parfum. This sensual, spicy scent evokes suede and is both intense and yet subtle.

The rich aroma of cedarwood blends with the warmth of white amber, while a hint of pink pepper leads the harmonious connection to a rich heart of jasmine sambac, balsam, and animalic ambroxan. The seductive essence lingers on the skin and unfolds with hypnotic labdanum, musk, and earthy patchouli to create an unforgettable fragrance.

  • Top notes: Cedarwood, White amber, Pink pepper
  • Heart notes: Jasmine sambac, Ambroxan, Balsam
  • Base notes: Labdanum, Patchouli, Musk, Vetiver

The aromatherapeutic properties of Dirty Suede transform this perfume into a holistic experience that goes far beyond a fragrance. Ambrette acts as a calming and sensual aphrodisiac, while jasmine uplifts the mood and promotes relaxation. Labdanum relieves stress and intensifies the feeling of sensuality.

Oderose from Élisire

Katrin loves Oderose from Élisire because it is a bit heavier and smells to her “Christmassy and festive.” The luxurious notes of Damask rose are perfectly rounded with cumin, sandalwood, and incense.

An ode to the rose and the power of love. A perfume of reflection and metamorphosis. Shimmering. Captivating. Fascinating. Sexy.

  • Top notes: Raspberry, Tarocco orange, Rose (of May)
  • Heart notes: Damask rose, Davana, African geranium, Cumin
  • Base notes: Sandalwood, Ambergris, Cashmeran, Musk, Oakmoss, Incense

Raspberry, Tarocco orange, and May rose awaken the senses. Cheerful and seductive. Damask rose, geranium, davana, and cumin. An overdosed Eau de Rose in a silver bottle - delicate yet wild. Precious sandalwood, cashmeran, and incense envelop the flower’s heart. Thorns adorn the transformation. Sexy ambergris, oakmoss, and musk enhance the reflections.

The Apartment by Abel

The Apartment by Abel is another new addition at Blanda Beauty. Vanessa especially loves this fragrance: with its gourmand notes of sour cherry, rum, and cocoa, it reminds her of delicious Christmas desserts or sophisticated cocktails, making it her perfect evening companion.

The Apartment Eau de Parfum is a dark, refined gourmand scent inspired by the elegance of a Parisian apartment, offered as a limited edition.

The essence of Parisian chic - The Apartment opens with intoxicating notes of sour cherry and rum to reveal a floral heart of tuberose grounded by rich cocoa. Smoky, cozy aromas of myrrh and tolu balsam form the base, giving the fragrance a velvety warmth.

  • Top notes: Sour cherry, Rum
  • Heart notes: Tuberose, Cocoa, Jasmine
  • Base notes: Myrrh, Tolu balsam

The perfume immerses the wearer in the ambiance of an opulent Parisian city apartment, where light filters through elegant velvet curtains and a cherry-stained napkin beside a rum cocktail tells the story of the previous evening.
